LOST IT ALL

I looked up at them and mumbled nervously "are you guys recording today or just practice?" I asked trying to change the subject

Andy opened his mouth to answer but Ashley beat him to it.

"just practice today" he answered my question

I just node blankly, all of them still looking at me, I did t know what to do so I asked another question.

"so...um do I have to do anything or do I just sit and wait...?" I asked awkwardly

"um...you don't have to do anything but I mean while were waiting you could help us set up or...if you wanted you could even try singing in the booth..." jinxx answered this time

I looked up at him and frowned "I don't sing..." I answered

he scoffed and replied "everybody sings"

"well I don't..." I retorted

" sure you do" he replied

I looked at him with a death glare "I. don't. sing."

jinxx signed and then answered "yeah alright, I bet you can't sing at all. I mean I bet its so bad that it makes children cry" he tauted

I knew what he was doing, he was trying t get me to sing to prove it to them that I wasn't that bad.

I flicked up an eyebrow at him and replied "its not that I'm bad at singing its just that I don't sing"

he shrugged and then said simply "then sing"

I sighed and looked around the room slowly until my eyes came to rest back on jinxx, "I don't sing I repeated"

jinxx had finally had enough of me saying that and walked up to me, looked me in the eyes, and gripped my shoulders.

"JUST. SING. ALREADY." he commanded

I signed again and shook his hands off my shoulders, a snuck a glance at Andy who looked more curious than mad now...

I looked back at jinxx and gave up "fine...only if it will shut you up"

jinxx nodded rapidly and I got up and got up, I started walking towards the recording booth and walked past Andy on the way, I felt his eyes on my back as I walked into the booth and closed the slightly squeaky doors. I walked up to the mic and picked up the headphones hanging off them and put them on. I felt everybody's eyes looking at me through the clear glass window that separated us.

I leaned into the mic and asked "what...do I sing?"

I looked at the guys exchange glances before jinxx pressed a button that let me hear his voice inside the booth.

"Lost it all" he said

I knew the song instantly when I heard his say the sing tittle. I quickly went over the words in my head before I started singing:

"I ruled the world.

With these hands I shook the heavens to the ground.

I laid the gods to rest.

I held the key to the kingdom.

Lions guarding castle walls.

Then I lost it all

My back's against the wall.
