Chapter 1

My name is Cali Jo Ann Auguste,I'm 17 years old,I have 3 older brothers,I haven't found my mate,yet. I'm hoping I find him soon because my best friend Riley has a mate and we never spend time together and it sucks. I have white hair,that looks like snow,like my mother,but she have light blue highlights,while I have dark purple highlights,I have light purple eyes,that none of my family has,and I'm the only girl in the family. My birthday is on December 25th.

May 24th Monday 2:25pm

So,here I am,at school,in 6th period,that is gym,waiting for the bell to ring,it rings at 3:15,there's still time and I have nobody to talk to because Riley is making out with her mate,Lucas. We were outside, I stood up and walk towards the woods

''Cali,come back here''I heard David yelled,I turn around, he was running towards me,and pulled me in to a hug,I hugged him back

Oh,David is my best friend,me,Riley Davis and David Bennett were all best friends,but that was until Riley meet her mate and completely ignore us. David had black hair,that he puts in a little Mohawk, he was 6'0 feet,he's attractive,but he's gay,he hasn't found his own mate, yet.

''I'm okay,David''I told him

''You better be''He told me,pulling away from me,he grabbed my hand,and we walked back to our class

We found a spot and sat down,but I laid down on the grass

''Cali''David said

''Yes''I asked

''Can I have your eyes''He asked me,I looked over at him,confused

''Why?"I asked, confused and curious

''Your eyes are so unique''David told me,looking at me,I looked down

''But,people stare at me,like I'm from a another planet''I told David

''Well,if you are,then I'll be your best friend for eternity''David told me,I laugh

''And that's why I love you''I told him,hugging him

''I feel so touch,Cali''David told me,hugging me back

''You better be''I told him,looking up at him,we pulled away

We just talked for a while,until I heard as girl scream. Me and David looked at the girl,who screamed and saw a snake,everybody moved away,I sighed as I got up and walked over to the snake,I grabbed the snake,the snake didn't bite me,I walk towards the forest,I let the snake free,but the Snake was just staring at me

''Go,your free''I told the snake,the snake nodded,and slid away,or how the snakes move

I walk back,when I got there,everybody was staring at me,curious

''How did you do that'' David asked me

''What do you mean''I asked him

''Why didn't it bite you,stupid''Riley told me,I glared at her

''Well,I don't know and I'm not stupid,but why haven't you been talking to me or David because your always with Lucas and we know his your mate,but you need time to hang out with your best friends''I told her,looking at her

''I don't need y'all anymore''She told us,glaring at me and David

''Give us a good reason''I asked her

''Well,let's see. Your a freak and David is gay''She told us,me and David just stared at her,hurt,sad, and mad,well actually I'm mad

''They,why did you become friends with us''I asked her,walking closer to her,she walk closer to me

''Because y'all were loners and nobody wanted to be your friends. Ohh,and I think your mates are going to regret y'all. Ohh wait,I forgot David's gay, so,he won't have a mate''She told us,all I could see was red

I jump on her and started to beat the living shit out of her,she tried to block my punches,I said tried,then I was pulled off of Riley,I know it was David,I tried to get out of his grip

''Let me go''I told him,trying to get out of his grip

''Cali,calm down''David told me

''How can I calm down,David. Did you hear what she said about us''I told him,trying to look at him

He turned me around

''I did,Cali,but we can deal with it''He told me,I nodded

''Cali and Riley,in my office,now'' Principal Turner said,through the speaker, I look at David

''Well,I have to go,see you in 5 years''I told him,I pulled away from him and walk towards the gym's door

''Are you kidding,Cali''David yelled behind me,I turned around

''Nope''I yelled at him,he ran towards me,I ran towards the door,I open the door,and ran towards the principal office with David behind me

I walk inside the office,I walk up to the front office

''How may I help you,Cali''Mrs. Bell asked me

''I have to see principal Turner''I told her,she nodded

She called Principal Turner,they talked,then she looked up at me

''You can go i-''She was cut off by David

He ran inside the office and hugged me

''Your not going in there''He told me

''I have too and my parents and brothers are in there''I told him,he looked down at me

''But,you can't leave me for 5 years''He whined

''Well,tell my parents that''I told him,he nodded and ran inside the Principal's office,I walk behind him

''I volunteer as tribute''David told them,I burst out laughing

''Mr.Bennett can you wait outside''He asked David

''Yes sir''David said,saluting to him and he walked out of the room and closed the door behind him

''Take a seat,Cali''Mr. Turner told me

I sat down by Zack

''Do you know why your here''Mr. Turner asked me

''Because I got in a fight''I told him,he nodded

''Now,what was the fight about''Mr. Turner asked me

''Well,Riley start to tall shit about me and David,then that's when I went Donkey Kong on her''I told him

''I thought you,Riley,and David were all best friends''Nathan asked me

''We were,until she ignore us,when she found her mate''I told him,he nodded

''Cali''Mr. Turner said

''Yes''

''You are suspended for 4 days''He told me

''WHAT''I yelled,standing up

''Cali,don't yell''My mother told me

''This isn't fair,what does Riley get''I asked him

''Nothing''He told me

I got up and walk out of the office,I grabbed David's hand and we walk out of the school. We ran towards the forest.
