VIXX Ken color portrait and Kcon storytime!

Ahh Los Angeles, home to Hollywood, beautiful coastlines, that oh so wonderful ocean air, actors, musicians, singers, and many tourist attractions!
But hey wait! why exactly am I talking about Los Angeles when this is supposed to be a chapter about the drawing of Ken of VIXX shown above? :/

Well my lovlies, because at the end of summer this year in Los Angeles California an awesome Event known as Kcon took place! And it does tie in to the drawing, and Ken actually ended up seeing this drawing I did of him! So let me explain further for those of you curious~ :D

And just to explain for people who may not already know, Kcon basically stands for "Kpop convention". it's a three day convention devoted all things kpop, Korean dramas, skin care and beauty products, dance workshops, and of course merchandice! ヾ(*'∀｀*)ﾉ

It's held in different locations all over the world!
(Its kind of like the comic con or anime expo of kpop, awesome right? :D )
And at the end of two of those three days an epic 2 night concert is held where you get to see a a whole plethora of kpop groups perform for a full 2 hours each night. *^* *^* *^*

And yours truly was there in the flesh! 😃 for ze full three days!
It was quite the experience!

I had to work my butt off to be able to pay for all the expenses of traveling there and attending...but I sold some stuff and took a few commissions, and just worked like crazy to make it possible.
there were so many struggles that I had to overcome to make the trip possible but DAMN WAS IT WORTH IT BABY!!!!!!!! XD and to be honest i wouldn't have even been able to go at all if it weren't for my sister who found us tickets for cheap through a friend of hers. SO I OWE A HUGE THANKS TO HER FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE! XD

(I also kind of had to go because she's not legally allowed to travel anywhere without a companion because of her disabilities )

But were any of you guys able to go? If you were there let me know what your favorite part about it was and where you went!! :D it's a shame I didn't share this before I left, I maybe could have met some of you guys and that would have been AMAZING! *^* But I was basically working until the day I left earning enough money to make it happen so I didn't really have time to post anything regarding it. X'D

I'm not sure if I've mentioned before, but VIXX is my ultimate all time favorite kpop group. Ever. (*ﾟ∀ﾟ*)

There are many groups that I Stan and love to death but VIXX Holds a very special place in my heart. 💖💖💖
And yup they were there at kcon!!!

Aaahhh they were there!!!

Did I mention I went with my sister? We stayed with a friend for the experience, and this friend also generously sold us the extra Kcon tickets for half price regular, we got really great seats and had a blast at the convention!! Gosh there was so much to do and see there's no way we could have done and seen everything that there was to do. It was amazing. ^^

I got a free B.A.P Rose poster and also the Rose album as well (although the album I purchased for an insane deal)

Me and my sis took pics, played some games. And even participated in a Kcon game up on a back stage! There was a dance off, balloon pop, musical chairs, and guess the kpop song. The winner at the end won various merch and for the last game the big prize was a Hyuk signed Shangri La album. We didn't win, but it was hella fun! XD
I came in third and my sis came in second. (The last round was musical chairs 😂)

We also tried some really cool battered octopus rolls. They were topped with these really cool flakes called "katsuobushi" and it was soooooo good. *^* at least I thought so, my sister didn't fancy them very much so I ended up eating hers and getting her something else. X'D
