"I want to be an actor," I honestly admit. She gasps, smiling widely.

"Well I don't know about you but there's an acting school in America that was interested in your drama grades. They found out because the school wanted colleges for you that teach people who eventually grow big," she explains, with me listening intently to her.

"Go reply to some while I go buy dorm furniture," I squeal, running upstairs. As I thump my feet, I hear the home phone buttons beeping.

I open my sliding door cupboard, picking out black overalls and a baby pink bralette. I pick up some black vans, with some undergarments. I decide to have a shower later so I change into the clothes now.

After an hour of getting ready, I say goodbye to my mother. She smiles at me, still on the phone.

I walk out the door, with my purse and phone. I pull down my sun glasses from my forehead to meet my eyes. Then push the earbuds connected to my phone in my ears.

I hum along to the song, no one is near me so I sing quietly to myself.

"Caught in a crossfire," I sing. A voice from behind me causes me to stop. I pull out my earphones, turning to where the voice is coming from.

"Sorry to interrupt you, you have a lovely voice," the male compliments. I have never seen this guy before, he's beautiful.

"Thank you. You are?" I calmly say, walking next to him.

"Quin," he smiles, "Quin Finland."

"That's a lovely name. I'm Kennedy Holdaway," I introduce myself.

"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl," he says, tugging his bottom lip with his teeth.

"I don't know about that," I laugh slightly, "where you heading to?"

"My dad asked me to run some errands at the store," he answers, running a hand through his dark hair. His eyes are a golden brown, which shine in the sun. His skin, slightly tanned and plastered with tattoos. He is slightly taller than me, and really thin, but with muscle.

"I have to go to the store too," I smile.

"Cool, first date?" he jokes, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Uh, I'm in a relationship," I tell him.

"Why is your boyfriend letting you walk around by yourself?" he asks, making me slightly uncomfortable.

"He's in America, he's visiting me tomorrow," I politely answer. He huffs, nibbling at his lip piercing.

"Well we might as well enjoy each other's company before I move away," he smiles, trying to be friendly.

"Yeah, sure," I nod.
~~~~~~~~
"You're famous?" Quin yells, watching people crowd me.
"I'm not famous," I correct him. Quin disappears behind a bunch of girls asking me questions. Some try taking photos, treating me like a rag doll.
A security guard pushes past the fans, pulling me roughly out of the crowd.
"Are you finished with your shopping miss?" the tall male asks, serious.
"Yes," I nod. Quin walks with us back out of the shopping centre.
"Enjoy the rest of your day," he says, walking back inside.
I give Quin an odd look, as we start walking back to our houses. I stole a trolley, I had a box and many shopping bags. A few of Quin's were in there too.
~~~~~~~
"I'm back!" I yell, opening the door.

"Kennedy guess what!" my mother runs down stairs.

"What?" I ask, struggling to keep the bags in the air.

"I'll leave ya to it," Quin says, smiling. He puts the box gently on the floor.

"Thank you," I smile at him.

"It was nice meeting you," he smiles before closing the door.

"You got into the college in America! And so have a few of your friends!" she says, catching her breath. I finally see her, slowly walking towards me.

"Like who?" I ask, giving up on holding the bags and put them on the couch.

"Paris, Aaron, and Grayson," she smiles. I feel my stomach drop.

"Are you sure?" I question.

"Yes! You and Paris are sharing a dorm!" she tells me excitedly.

"Thank you!" I cheer, focusing in seeing my best friend again.

"Let's figure out where to put all of this."

Oh boy.
