Hunger Games - New Dawn

i went to wash and prepare for Flavius and Octavia when there was a knock on the door. i went downstairs.

"oh there she is my greatest triumph" she hugged me

"hello Effie" i then hugged Flavius and Octavia

"oh what a lovely little house so quaint of course you've heard about Cinna"

"what about Cinna?" i asked getting anxious

"oh he's a fashion star. you're his muse everyone in the capitol is wearing him" she told me

"not everyone" i heard him sighing in relief i hugged him.

"Lilly?" i turned to face Posy

"oh is this your sister" Effie cooed and she went to fawn over the youngest.

"you okay?" Cinna asked me.

"not here" i whispered

"okay. you ready to get to work" i nodded and we set about getting ready. it was dark and i was having final preparations done while Ceaser was talking about us.

"okay she's ready now big smiles in three, two, one" i smiled as she opened the door.

"there she is everyone Lilly Hawthorne" i waved to the camera "and there he is Peeta Mellark the bakers boy" i sighed not feeling nervous anymore we went to hug each other then slipped i cracked out laughing as did Peeta. but we pulled our selves round standing up arm around my waist.

"wow what a way to start" i joked and i could hear the laughter "Sorry about that"

"it's alright it's your day so how's it going." he asked

"great, it's so good to be back home with friends and family and its good here in 12" Peeta answered

"thanks to the generosity of the capitol we've never been closer" i added

"25 yard to be exact" i chuckled

"good well thanks a lot and we'll catch up with you during the tour" we waved good bye and the camera were down.

"wonderful and pack up everyone we are out of here in ten" Effie ordered

"Peeta on the train i need to speak with you" i told him i planned on telling him about Snow

"okay" he nodded

"come along children the train awaits" i gave Peeta a quick kiss before going back inside and sang goodbye to my family.

"do you have to go illy" Posy asks

"i do hun but i promise i will be back in a couple of weeks i will even bring you back a present from the capitol." she cheered i ruffled Vick and Rory's hair before hugging gale and my mom.

"see you soon" i waved before getting into the car with Peeta

on the train Effie was talking about how she ordered the best for us.

"fabulous wine, fabulous food, massages and pedicures it told them nothing but the best for my two victors" i rolled my eyes but smiled a little "it all needs to be..." she trailed off

"fabulous?" Haymitch replied in a sarcastic way i suppressed my laugh.

"exactly. now the schedule is a bit of a bear 12 days 12 districts but it's mostly parties, speeches, celebrations, adoring fans at every stop along the way and the we wrap it up in the capitol. so enjoy you time in the spot light you've earned it."

"yes by killing people" i muttered

"Lils" Peeta warned i stood up and left the car going past a room where i heard people and buzzing i looked to see i was a control room. the person in there saw me and locked the door. i huffed continuing to the back of the train.

i messed with my pin when i heard the door open.

"please no lecture I'll apologise later" i said thinking it was Haymitch come to scald me but when i looked up i saw it was Peeta i smiled a little.

"sorry thought you were Haymitch"

"sorry to disappoint" he sat down wrapping a arm around me.

"you wanted to talk?" i nodded

"President Snow came to see me " i told him his grip tightened

"what did he say"

"he told me about the riots in the other district and how i started all of this when i brought out the berries. also that if we don't distract them or he will make district 12 the new 13" my cheeks were wet .

"shit. okay right Lils" he lifted me up "we're gonna get through this okay" i nodded and he wiped away my tears before kissing me. we shortly arrived in district 11 but something caught my eye it looked like my pin.

"did you see that" i asked turning around and when we came out i gasped it was like a military base. we arrived shortly after to a empty train station and Effie was livid well sort of.
