She noticed the police car parked in front of her house her heart began racing and Nick's voice echoed in her head. "Keep your promise," she whispered walking the little path way up to her house taking a deep breath she opened the door.

"Daddy," she said with glistening eyes, the  old man lifted his gaze up from the cup of tea he was holding, "Baby girl!"

He said loudly as he stood up she hurried to his arms hugging him tightly hearing her dad's sobs made her breakdown in tears as well; being the first time she has ever heard him shed a tear in her entire life.

"I'm okay daddy," she rubbed his back, trying to comfort him.

He  examined her face with his hand carefully, "Are you hurt? Did those men do anything to you?!" his eyes traveled down her body examining her clothes for any sign of blood.

"No daddy. I'm okay," she repeated. "Don't  worry," he pulled her back to his chest. "We're going to find them and make them pay!" she rested her chin on his shoulder, knowing that won't  happen.

Two police men walked in, her dad pulled away with his arm still around her. "We need to ask you some questions."

She started to  feel nervous again but she nodded taking a seat, "Did you catch a glimpse of them at all?" She stayed quiet thinking about Ian's face but Nick's voice kept blurring it out shaking her head. "No I don't know who they are, what they look like I was just in a small room blindfolded I have no idea or information," she stood up "All I want is to go to bed." Her  dad did too.

"Maybe another time when her mind is more clear," he told the  police men, her dad walked them out and came back.

"I thought I  wouldn't see you again."

Shaking her head, "Daddy I just want to forget all about this whole ordeal. I don't want to deal with the police." Her dad shook his head, "I'll tell them to lay off the investigation for a couple of days but honey I won't let them get away with it, you're going  to have to do your part."

She nodded, "Okay I'm just going to go take a shower." Her dad walked up her giving her a tight hug and kiss on the cheek "I love you," she smiled.

"I love you too".

The next  three days her dad has been keeping her prisoner in her house, she also feeling the post traumatic stress, but she needs to go out so she finally convince him to let her go out for coffee with Taylor her best  friend.

"Just to the café down the street Selena," she nodded.

"Yes daddy I promise, and its only coffee," she gave him a kiss. "I'll be back in an  hour or two." Her dad nodded and watched her walk out the door.

Selena  took a moment to breathe the fresh air; it felt good to feel the wind blow through her hair and the rush of warmth running through her body. She slowly walked towards the café, knowing perfectly well that Taylor  would be late...like always.

She always loved the scenery of her neighborhood, so peaceful; but ever since the robbery she felt the need  to look at her surroundings and pray that nothing happened, in a sense she appreciated life more after that experience.  She walked into the café to see it busy for a Tuesday afternoon, her eyes traveled around  the small place to see if any tables where available; "What now..." she  sighed noticing every table was taken.

"You can sit  here if you want..." a deep voice captured her attention, she quickly  turned to her side to see a pair of hazel eyes looking her way, "You can say no." He smiled as she stood there deciding if she should.

Her shy laugh resonated through the loud environment as she looked down to hide the blush forming in her cheeks, "Yeah, let me just go order my  cappuccino." She decided knowing perfectly well that Taylor wouldn't be here for another couple of minutes.

He examined her from afar;  her hair fell nicely down her shoulders while she looked around  nervously knowing that his gaze was definitely on her.

"Thanks..."  she said once she returned from ordering her drink. "It's really busy today," her sweet smile sparkled as she looked at the guy sitting across  from her.

"Yeah, it's a free muffin Tuesday," he laughed while looking at Selena's surprised face.

"Really?" she whispered like she was hiding a secret.

She  watched as he let out a low chuckle; "No..." his lips parted as he took a sip from his drink, "The coffee here is just really good".

Selena  smiled as the guy tried to hide his crooked one sided smile, "I'm Selena..." her voice sent a sudden chill down his spine while her hand  stretched out across the table for him to take.

"I'm..." he mumbled while shaking her hand and locking eyes with her brown ones, "I'm..."
