Y/N's POV

I've been in Benham City for a week now and I was starting school today.

I got changed into similar clothing to what I've been wearing recently.

I started wearing a short-sleeved shirt with a hoodie so I didn't overheat. I wore jeans and sports shoes. I continued to cover my face since I didn't want people seeing what I looked like. I also put gloves over my hands still.

I grabbed my bag that Aunt Nathalie bought for me.

I walked out of my room and downstairs.

I walked to the kitchen and saw Aunt Nathalie.

"Are you sure you wanna be heading to school in that?" Aunt Nathalie asked.

"I've spent three years doing this, I think I should be fine." I said,

"Okay, but call me if something does happen." Aunt Nathalie said.

"Okay. I gotta head out now." I said.

"Be safe." Aunt Nathalie said.

"I will." I said walking out the house.

Uncle George had already gone to work and Aunt Nathalie had to take Hector and Brianna to school.

So I was walking to school.

I started walking to school.

I was nervous as this was my first time starting a new school.

And actually going to school in five years.

Well, I went to kindergarten but never actual school.

I never had a normal childhood and my parents told everyone I was being home-schooled.

They lied.

They forced me to smile and pretend like I was happy.

But I wasn't. I wasn't allowed to interact with people.

I wasn't allowed to make friends.

I was made to know how to take the pain.

I was made to show fake my emotions.

But all that changed.

I saw the school and I walked a little fast.

I walked into the school and looked around.

I was distracted while looking around until I bumped into someone.

I fell to the ground and looked up.

I saw the same guy from the diner.

I quickly fixed my hoodie over my face and was about to get up until someone had put their hand out for me to grab.

I grabbed it and they pulled me up.

I picked my bag up from the floor and looked at the person.

"Sorry for bumping into you." the person said.

I recognised them as Spiky.

"It's okay." I quietly said.

"Hey, your that girl that had come to the diner and had a problem with their watch." Spiky said.

"Uh, yeah." I said.

"You new here?" Spiky asked.

"Yeah." I said.

"You got your schedule?" Spiky asked.

"No." I said.

"I'll help you out." Spiky said.
