Being alone, isolated seemed to be a bliss
The snow bothered me.
I disliked how it was cold and wet
I hated the red, puffy ballgown.
I hate how I was forced to this ball.
That was when I saw you across the room.
Who could forget those,
Those enchanting blue eyes.
Mimicking a cloudless, clear sky.
They held various tales.
Those eyes, taught me to love.
I remember, you walking towards me.
That dashing smile won me over.
Your outreached palm, led me to my first dance.
I loved the way the snowflakes fell as we danced.
I adored the way we laughed.
But, I loved you more than the laughs and the dance.
You taught me to love even the smallest bit of rain.
The softest busker at the streets.
I couldn't be more grateful.
I couldn't be more in love-
With you.
