Jamming in the Airport

Start from the beginning

"Yes, Michael?"

"What are you doing?"

"Nothing!"

"I know you, Y/N. You're doing something."

"That is incorrect."

He rolled his eyes and turned back around. Somehow, there was an enormous plaque of the airport's history. This easily caught his attention and distracted him.

Jitterbug

Your eyes widened and you held back a scream.

Jitterbug

One by one, a body part moved.

Jitterbug

You crouched and snapped your fingers.

Jitterbug

You did one of Michael's signature spins.

You put the boom boom into my heart,
You send my soul sky high when your lovin' starts.
Jitterbug into my brain,
Goes bang bang bang till my feet do the same.

You skipped in place and whipped your hair.
"Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" was a much more upbeat song. It was harder for you to keep quite with this one.

But something's bugging me
Something ain't right
My best friend told me
Where you were last night.
Left me sleeping
In my bed.
I was dreaming
But I should've been with you instead.

Channeling your inner Andrew Ridgeley, you pretended to play a guitar. The whole time, Michael was oblivious to your buffoonery.

Cuddle up baby,
Move in tight.
We'll go dancing tomorrow night.
It's cold out there
But it's warm in bed.
They can dance,
We'll stay home instead.

You circled around yourself and reached your hand out on George Michael's high note. With an intrigued face, Michael nodded as he read about the airport's history.

Once the song went off, another intro caused you to freeze in place. The bass, keyboard, and drums started the song. Eventually, the beat escalated into a slight guitar solo. Finally, the singing began.

When you were a little girl, you watched The Whispers perform the choreography to this song. You quickly learned it and never forgot it, even after a decade and a half.

And the beat goes on
Just like my love everlasting

You beamed as you performed the famous choreography. With every step, snap, and bounce, you added a feminine touch. Altering the dance, you made it your own.

And the beat goes on
Still moving strong on and on

Do you ever wonder
That to win, somebody's got to lose
I might as well get over the blues
Just like fishing in the ocean
There'll always be someone new
