So.... just so ya'll not thinking of an actual detective from today's time, think of it as a detective from back then. Ya know, black and white, they're talking really weird, saxophone in the background? I don't really know how to describe it but I hope ya'll speaking my language.

Anyways, yea..

It was a rainy night. Detectives Huey Freeman and Jazmine DuBois, the top detectives in the state, just got a call from their chief, wanting them to investigate a murder that had happened.

"This is the fifth murder this week," Jazmine says, walking into the chiefs office.

"I know," their Chief Donte Johnson says, "This time it's someone named Ming Long-Dou. She was a loved model. Her body was found stabbed in a river."

"Kinda like the last murder," Huey says.

"I'm counting on you two to get to the bottom of this," Donte says. The two nod,

"Do we have any leads?" Huey asks.

"The suspect was last seen at a bar down on Main street. Go visit them and see what you can find out," Chief Donte hands them the paper with the tip on it and sends them off.

The two left, going to their first location. JNova was a popular club in Chicago that was owned by a big mobster on "good behavior"

"The tip says she was last seen here," Jazmine says, reading the paper she had. "Maybe we could talk to the owner and see what we can find out."

Huey nods, getting out the car. Walking in, all you could hear was loud whistling. There was a huge stage with a girl in a really revealing outfit on stage. She wore a white laced body suit with white heels. Her hair was in a messy bun and she was wearing little to no make up. She was beyond beautiful in most's eyes.

"I need a gangster," she sang, "to love me better, then all the others do. To always forgive me, ride or die with me, that's just what gangsters do."

The detectives noticed the girl. Jada Caesar. She was a singer that sang and danced for the club and was married to the owner.

"My freakness, is on the loose. And running all over you. Please take me, to places that nobody, nobody, nobody knows."

She was really good and mesmorized everyone around her. Huey stared, making Jazmine jealous. She hit him in his shoulder, causing him to look at her.

"What?" He asked. She just shook her head, rolling her eyes.

After Jada got done singing, she got off stage, having already noticed the two detectives. She put on a giant white fur coat, walking up to them.

"Detectives Huey and Jazmine. What a lovely surprise," She says with a smile.

"Jada," Jazmine says. Huey only stared.

"What can I do for you both?"

"We need to talk to your husband."

"My husband? Well, what for?"

"There was a murder that happened and the suspect was last seen here."

Jada looked around before motioning for the detectives to follow her. Huey watched the girl's hips sway as she walked ahead of them.

"You might as well take a picture," Jazmine mumbles, making Huey smirk. He knew she was getting jealous.

Jada walked past two guards, telling them the detectives were with her and they walked into a room.

"Baby?" Jada calls, "You have visitors."

Behind a desk was a man with long dark locs. He wore a black suit and had papers scattered around the desk.

"Detectives. It's been a while," Michael Caesar says. His wife sits on the table next to him, kissing him. "What's up?"

"There's been a murder," Huey says plainly. He slides a picture of the suspect on Caesar's desk who looked at it.

"Ah, Ming. She was a friend of yours, right baby?" He lifts the picture and shows his wife. Jada pouts, looking at the picture.

"Awe, poor Mingy. I can't believe she's gone too," Jada says sadly.

"She was last seen here," Jazmine continues, "Did anything look suspicious to you?"

"No. She came to chat with me. She did say she felt like she was being stalked though."

"Did she?"

"Yes. I told her to go talk to my brother and maybe he'd help her. Maybe he might know something."

"Your brother?" Huey asks, wanting more information.

"Riley Freeman. My twin brother," Jada bends over to write an address down, Huey sneaking a glance. Hey, he was 25 year old man. He had needs too. "I'll call him and let him know you'll be on your way. Maybe he can help."

The detectives thank the couple, making their leave. Huey noticed Jazmine's irritated mood and raised a brow,

"What's wrong?" he asks.

"Nothing," was all his partner said and they got in their car.

"You sure," Huey asks as they drove, "You seem upset with something."

"I'm fine, Huey. Just ready to go home."

Huey glanced at her, only shrugging.

The location Jada gave was near an abandoned warehouse. Scratch that, it was in an abandoned warehouse.

Guards blocked the entrance as the two detectives walked up.

"Officers Freeman and Dubois. We need to talk to Riley Freeman," Huey shows them his badge and they allow the two to go inside. The warehouse was dark and was filled with drugs. If they weren't investigating a murder, they would definitely be arresting whoever is in charge of this.

"Now why the hell did my sister bring ya'll niggas here?" Riley questions, the officer walking up to him. To his right was a white girl with long blonde hair but a nice body. She was sitting at the edge of the chair, her arm around his neck.

"Riley Freeman? I am Officer Dubois and this is my partner Officer Freeman. There's been a murder and we're here to ask you a few questions."

"I ain't do it!"

Huey rolls his eyes,

"Do you know this girl?" Huey holds up the photo and Riley looks at it.

"Aye, ma, ain't that your friend from the club? Ling ling or some shit."

"Ming!" His girlfriend, Cindy, gasps. "She's dead?"

"So you do know her?"

"Me and Jay was close friends with our lil dumpling! She was jus tellin us about someone stalkin her. Reezy looked into it but we ain't find nun."

"I found sum," Riley interjects. "Some nigga named Hiro was watchin her."

"Hiro? That was Ming's ex boyfriend."

"Ex boyfriend?" Jazmine was jotting down things they were saying on her notepad.

"Yea, they broke up I think a few weeks ago. Hiro was being too overbearing and Ming just wasn't having it so she dumped em.

"You think he might've harmed her?" Huey asked.

"I'm not sure. He loved her a lot."

"Where does he stay at?"

"Here," Riley hands them a piece of paper. "Take that shit and get the fuck out. Ya'll niggas makin me mad and ruinin my time with my girl."

The detectives leave and look at the address on the paper.

"Wait," Jazmine looks harder at the address, "This is to a music company. You think the Hiro they're talking about is Hiro Otomo?"

"Only one way to find out."

This is only going to be 3 parts so stay tuned for two more chapters of this.
