"Interesting. . ." He muttered. It was no time to be impressed, though.
Blood. Numbing. The power, it's eating me alive!~ Elena's brain slurred as a bone-chilling laugh escaped her parted lips.
The man stared at the person in front of him. This girl. . . She's dangerous. He finally realized. She is well needed at the Academy, but the other students' safety is being violated.
Shame.
"It won't stop." She breathed looking down, a shadow casted over her translucent gaze.
"It's like there's two of me. . Hahahaha~" salty tears streaked the girl's cheeks as her pupils began to fade. Elena abruptly threw her head back. "They hurt me, you know. . . It drew me over the edge. I snapped! Completely! Mmmhhahaha!"
8 sins committed
7 chains restrain me
6 shattered dreams
5 fake smiles
4 balls of thread
3 stained knives
2 mixed personalities
1 thing to do
0 strained apologies
10000000000 jumbled thoughts
"That's enough" A steel crowbar came crashing down on top Elena's head.
"Wh-Wha—?" She fell with a thump to the ground, her wings disappearing and her original attire returning; navy jeans with a long sleeve cream-colored sweater.
"We should send her to the Asylum immediately." The woman who had rendered Elena unconscious expertly pushed her glasses up from the bridge of her nose.
"No." The man replied instantly. The woman rose a thin brow in surprise.
"I hope you have a good reason for this, Albert." She sternly informed. "There could be serious consequences if we let her be unwatched.
"The girl is clearly unstable and in no condition to freely roam the halls of Briarstone. You should think before you take action, sir."
Albert's smoky blue gaze landed unyieldingly on Wanda.
"Do you really think I would let this girl go unaccounted for? She will be heavily watched, of course. Give me some credit here, Wanda. I'm no fool."
Wanda's critical green hues looked apprehensive at first, but she gave in none-the-less. He had to have had a reason, right?
"Fine."
She cautiously picked Elena's limp figure up careful not to drop her.
"We best be on our way then."
"You seem to have forgotten that I make the rules around her." Albert brought he palm forth and flexed his fingers out, wielding unknown forces to permanently extinguish the blue flames.
"Of course not." She once again pushed the rim of her oval-shaped glasses up.
"Okay" he stomped his foot and a large spiraling portal erupted magnificently through thin air. The portal opened wide like a mouth waiting to gobble its pray up. "Let's head out then."
Wanda snickered.
"Or perhaps we should 'head in'"
Albert glared at the chestnut-haired woman.
"I should fire you for that."
"But you won't."
"Don't be so quick to retort"
And with that, the two entered the large portal without any second thoughts.

If you won't let me in, then I'll force my way through. I will get inside you. I will control your very being.
I. Am. You.
Just the dark side of you.

"Urghhn. . ."
Elena groggily lifted her eyelids only to clamp them back shut in shock. Light! Really bright light!
"What the hell?!"
"Calm yourself" a woman spoke. The light flickered off and heels tapped irritably against the tiled floor.
"Struggling will only make it worse."
"Where am I" Elena demanded. "Tell me!"
"Briarstone Academy."
"An Academy? Why the hell am I here? Remove these restraints!" The honey-blonde thrashed violently trying desperately to break free. She let out a frustrated guttural whimper.
The nurse simply sighed.
"Do I have your word shall you not run?"
She went to touch Elena's hand only to jump back as the retrained girl growled threateningly.
"Don't touch me!" She screeched. "I swear when I get out of here. . ."
"Don't go making promises you can't keep, child. You may as well hold still."
"I'll kill you!" Elena snarled.
"I don't want to be here!"
A needle was pierced through her arm causing Elena to tense. She wanted to asked what they just injected her with but she immediately grew pale when she couldn't trace her wand.
"M-My wand. . ." She muttered.
"Where the hell is my wand?!"
"You sure are a noisy one aren't you?"
"Answer me!"
"Shut Up!" The nurse finally snapped full on back-handing the struggling teen. "God damn!"
Her cheek stung painfully. Elena diverted her gaze from the nurse trying hard not to cry out in frustration and anger. She hated the nurse. She hated her life dammit.
When will things ever go her way?
The drugged they had shot her with were now taking a toll on Elena and once again the world began to fade into a pitch black void.
The nurse was relieved to say the least.
I would honestly be frustrated too if I was placed in Elena's shoes. If the nurse slapped me I'd be like "BIIITTTCCCHHH HELLLLL NO!" 😂
Anyway hope you enjoyed and don't forget to vote and comment!
Feedback would be nice. . .
