After the engagement, all the other functions which are the mehendi, sangeet and haldi ceremony were held with Avni mostly focusing on how to stop the marriage.

Avni gathered her team which included Neela, Ali and Dd, yes she had started to form a really good bond with Dd when she started all her planning and plotting.

During the Mehendi ceremony Bebe asked Avni why Neela hadn't come and she told her Neela was sick and won't be able to attend the rest of the functions as an excuse...

Marriage day.

Ali is at Avni's house

Avni- do you remember what to do.

Ali- Yes Avni, this is the fifth time you're asking me.

Avni- no Ali, there has to be no mistake. Let's go over it again.

Ali- fine.

Ali and Avni go downstairs and Avni goes to meet Neela in the kitchen.

Avni- Maa, I have to go now. She takes her blessing.

Neela- Ohkay Avni, keep me updated on the situation.

Avni- Ohkay Maa, bye.

Neela- bye.

Ali- bye aunty.

Neela- bye Ali.

Mehta Mansion

Rhea's room

Rhea- I can't go through with this marriage. I have to do something.

Hetal(rhea's mother) comes in.

Hetal- maa (DWM) asked you to get ready fast.

Rhea- OK.

Mehta mansion Garden.

Avni sees Aman outside the mansion and wonders why he didn't show up for the other functions, suddenly her phone beeps and brings her out of her thoughts. She receives a message from Ali showing - a thumbs up emoji, and she replied saying Thanks Ali, and you don't need to start searching for an emoji to say what you want to say.

She leaves the Garden.

Neil's baraat arrives and the Mehta family welcomes them. Neil tries his best to keep a happy face and smile but he was sort of failing at it.

Hetal goes to bring Rhea down and takes her to the seat next to Neil at the Mandap.

They completed the seven rounds then Neil puts the mangalsutra on her neck and the sindoor on her forehead. Then the pandit (priest) declares them as husband and wife.

They stand up and start to take blessings from their elders, the took Prakash and Shweta's blessing, Bebe, Hetal and Ketan (Rhea's father), they move to DWM but Neil mistakenly steps on Rhea's veil dragging it off her head and....

Neil shocked - Avni!

*Flashback *

Hetal leaves, Rhea goes to her bed to get her dress.

Someone comes in

Rhea- Maa I already told you......, tum. (tum- you)

Ali- yes me. He smiles.

Rhea- what are you doing here.

Ali- come on Rhea, you can come to my Cafe but I can't come to your wedding. Anyway it was Neil who Invited me.

Rhea- so what do you want.

Ali- I came to tell what you're doing is wrong.

Rhea- what did I do?.

Ali- You're destroying your life Rhea.

Rhea- how?.

Ali- you're marrying someone you don't love and you know you'll regret everything later.

Rhea- Who told you all this nonsense, I love Neil.

Ali- come on Rhea who do you think you're fooling, it's so obvious you don't love him.

Rhea looks down.

Ali- you know what we can end all this.

Rhea- how?.

Ali- I'll take you away from this place.

Rhea- but Dadi needs this marriage to happen, else she'll go bankrupt.

Ali- don't worry about that, you know who your Dadi is naa, Dayanwanti Mehta. She'll find a solution, she has a lot of contacts.

Rhea- I.. I think you're right. Let's go.

Ali- OK come.

Ali- she's so gullible (he thinks). And smirks

Ali and Rhea leave, Avni enters and wears Rhea's dress, covering her head with the veil.
