A/N: I'm back! I know I've been gone a lot longer than I said I would be. School and band have made it very difficult for me to find any time to write. I have been under so much stress and even some mental stuff. I was planning on writing for you guys during school, but I don't know if I can. However, it is Christmas break now, so I finally have time. In case you had not already noticed the title somehow, I hate most of these titles for the chapters. A lot of them are only there because it makes it easier to find than trying to figure out which number it is. So, I might stop writing them altogether or just do weird stupid name on purpose, but I never put much effort or thought into them before. Sorry for talking so much, thanks for reading this random mess I wrote.

TRIGGER WARNING: Blood, screaming, unpleasant things in general are not so fun.  It gets pretty sad too if you're sensitive even to crappy fan fiction like mine I recommend tissues.

That night you had the most intense nightmare you'd ever had. It was still so vivid and clear in your memory, which was strange since you usually couldn't remember your nightmares at all. The dream started with you waking up to the sound of Dan screaming downstairs. He had cried, pleaded and begged to be let go and where they had taken me. Each scream he let out was so painful. It felt so real.

You awoke to the sound a gunshot ringing throughout the house. Noah let out a painful scream that quickly became muffled. You shot straight up in bed and looked around. You were in complete silence.

The sun had yet to rise, and the crisp, humid morning air flowed into the house through the cracked hallway windows. You stepped out of your room and into the hallway. You would have felt peaceful and calmed if it weren't for your current situation, but the eery silence surrounding you just made your heart beat faster.

You tiptoed slowly to the stairs, hoping maybe you hadn't heard what you thought it was. You took your first step down the stairs, and a loud unforgiving creak broke the silence and sent a pang to your heart. It began to beat faster and faster even though you tried to keep your calm. You creeped down the stairs more carefully, and then you saw it. Drops of blood and bloody footprints trailed to the front door which had been left creaked open. You heard a car engine start up and raced outside. The tires screeched and by the time you'd opened the door you were already too late. You could barely make out the figure of your father in the driver's seat and bloody handprints on the trunk.

Not knowing what else to do, you ran after them as fast as you could. You didn't make it far at all before running out of breath. (A/N: me being barely fit at all)

You kneeled down on the ground and tried to get yourself together. You were stuck all alone in the middle of nowhere with no way to get to Noah, feeling weak and as helpless as you could.

Dan's POV:

I woke up to a loud gunshot followed by the sound of Y/N's brother, Noah, screaming out in pain. His cries quickly became muffled through what was most likely their father's hand.

I tried to get up and stop him, but my hands were tied to a pipe behind my back. My head began to pound, and I quickly became very dizzy. Once my vision became steady again, I looked around and found myself sitting in a damp, dark, cold basement.

I heard a loud creak coming up from above me. Was that Y/N? I screamed out for her, but it barely made a sound because of a gag that had been put in my mouth. I tried to wriggle my hands free as fast as I could, and it didn't take long for the rope to burn my wrists. I stopped, took a deep breath, and pushed my hands apart to try to stretch the rope out. Slowly but surely it became loose enough that I could barely pull my hands free. I stood up, and my head started pounding again. I leaned against the wall until it stopped, and then I removed the gag from my mouth as I raced out of the basement.
