Confinement is the sequel to Desperado. In order to understand certain events you'll have to read Desperado first.
Katie Lodge backstory opens up a lot more in this story and she won't be present in some Riverdale events.
There will be more scenes with the Crowns (The Queens & The Kings) including some of their own backstories. Four more characters are introduce and two of them were already touched on in Desperado.
