~The next day~

Gray and Erza were sitting at the guild next to each other and their hands were linked underneath the table and Natsu and Lucy sat across from them. Natsu and Lucy had recently become a couple, but everyone was expecting that they would soon be together. Gray and Erza was never expected, everyone was expecting Erza to obviously end up with Jellal and Gray would start liking Juvia and they would date.

Everyone thought wrong.

They were nervous about telling, what would everyone's reactions be? What would they think about it? They sure didn't know.

Gray took a big gulp and looked over at Erza every once and a while and couldn't help but notice her lips. Erza was talking with Lucy and Natsu and Gray was silent and caught himself now staring at Erza's lips. He couldn't help but snap out of it and soon grab her and kiss her. Natsu and Lucy's reactions were surprised and they looked back and forth at each other. Erza's eyes were wide and her face was bright red. Gray was enjoying the kiss, it wasn't anything special, but at least she was kissing back. He soon pulled away and frowned, "Sorry Erza...."

Erza shook her head and put her finger to his lips, "I was kind of hoping you would do that..." Her face turned even redder when she said that.

All of a sudden a few moments later they heard a few hands clap together, they turned around and saw Mira and Lucy smiling and clapping. Mira looked adored at them and smiled, "Congratulations you guys!"

Grays face got red and he looked at everyone who was looking at them kind of embarrassed until he was interrupted by Erza pulling him to her and she pulled herself onto his lap so she could get closer to him and she kissed him again, this time more passionate but still not the kiss they were both waiting for.
