Her Tryout

"Babe? You ready to head to the Performance Center?" Dean asked juggling his car keys in his hands

"Stop shouting love, I'm right here." Jade smiled, pulling her hair into a messy ponytail while Dean admired her from behind, but she saw his reflection in the mirror and smiled fondly

Dean couldn't understand it. This woman, the love of his life, the mother of his three children was 44 years old and still looked like she had when he first met her. She always used to say 'You don't age when you're in love' he had to smile when she pulled her bangs out from the ponytail

"Ready?" She asked, with a smile

Dean nodded and opened the door for her, so not staring at her ass when she walked away, and she so didn't add a little sway to her hips just cuz-

They were in the van, Jade was eating a bag of caramel popcorn, occasionally feeding Dean when he asked

"So like what's the deal with DJ today?" Dean asked, looking at Jade quickly at the corner of his eyes

Jade looked ahead but replied

"Dad said they're gonna observe her in the ring today and within a week we'll know if she got through with NXT." Jade explains sighing

"So what do you think?" Dean asked, looking at the intersection

"About DJ?" She asked sipping some of her sprite and pulling out her beef and veggies

Dean nodded, pulling into the intersection after making sure it was safe to go

Jade sighed

"Honestly she needs to toughen up. I mean she couldn't really fend off Becky the other day. I don't want her getting injured stupidly." Jade said looking at Dean

"What song is this?" Dean asked, keeping his eyes on the road, yet cringing at the radio

Jade looked at the radio

And then busted out laughing

"Bad and Boujee," she replied smiling

She changed the station to Dean's soft rock channel and smiled, reaching over and resting a hand behind his neck

"I love you." She said and it was incredible to her that Dean, after 15+ years of marriage Dean would still light up whenever she told him she loved him

"I love you to." He replied, pulling into the Performance Center's parking lot

"Let's do this?" He asked, taking the ignition off

"Yup," she replied getting out of the van, Dean following after her

They sat next to Triple H as DJ took on a new diva named Rose.

DJ took a while but she finally took control of the match and covered Rose for the win

Dean and Jade, as well as, Triple H stood up and cheered loudly for DJ as she wiped her sweat

"Excellent sport, you'll have the results by next week Tuesday," Triple H said, carrying his clipboard and talking to another exec as they walkef backstage

"Oh Deej, you did so well," Jade said, taking DJ into her arms and DJ replied eagerly to her mom's hug.

"Yeah babe, you did so good, no doubt they're gonna let you into the training," Dean said joining the hug, making it a group hug

They all laughed as one happy family. They decided they would only tell David and Jon about DJ's audition if she got through, they were already excited their sister was gonna become a WWE Superstar.
