Jade began to panic, wondering if this was Nikki's way of saying the friendship was over
She was so caught up, she didn't hear the bell ring and Nikki walked in and over to her
"Hey," she said, beginning to pull out a chair

"Hey, did you just meet the Queen?" Jade asked, jokingly taking in Nikki's outfit
Nikki chuckled and shook her head
"No, I was just with John's mom for brunch, I can't eat food right now," Nikki explained
It was like nothing had changed
"Same, I can't eat anything else, Dean made lasagna, was really good, so I got us a cupcake rack," Jade said, showing it to her
Nikki smiled and picked up a vanilla orange crème one and took a bite and picked up a cup of cocoa

"Mm, that's good," she said, putting it down and looking at Jade
"I asked you here cuz I wanted to talk about what's happened with us," Nikki said
Jade sighed, but nodded
"I think that I was too extra when we talked about John and Dean, and um, I'm sorry, I just wasn't okay with John being down and you being unsupportive," Nikki said, making Jade close her eyes in shock
