Dean and Jade had Seth and Sarah and Randy and Kim over, this was what he needed. Her friends, some couldn't be there, but Seth and Randy could and that meant alot.
They were having a mini barbeque, Dean sat with Randy, Kim, Seth and Sarah, while Jade was at the grill
"Mommy!" Jade heard DJ's voice cry out
"Yeah princess?" She called, wanting to finish the salmon to see what DJ wanted
At 2 and a half years old, she was an energetic kid.
"Momma!" She heard again
"I'm coming sweetie," she replied, turning to the door to see DJ running out through the door towards her
"Baby," Jade smiled picking her up
"Oh princess, you're so amazing, you took your first steps princess, all the way to your mommy, oh, I love you princess!" Jade said, kissing DJ's cheek
"Broke crib," she said looking at her mom
Jade tsked, she knew the wall of DJ's crib could adjust so she didn't break it, she just lowered it
"No worries baby cakes," she said cuddling DJ close to her chest
"Jay, the salmon," Kim said smiling at Jade and DJ
"Shoot," she said, passing DJ to Dean
"Go to daddy, Deej," she said giving her to him and turning the rotating grill so the other side of the food could properly cook
She smiled and turned back around, a bigger smile gracing her face when she saw the two loves of her life

"Does my princess want a cookie?" Dean asked picking one up and breaking a small piece for her and holding it to her mouth
She nibbled it slowly and smiled up at Dean
Later when Randy and Seth and the girls had gone home, Jade was going through her phone and saw the first picture of Nikki and DJ and she decided to post it

"I can't believe how big our little Deej is getting," Jade said sighing
"I know, soon I'll have to be suplexing guys off of her," Dean joked
Jade grinned and fixed her hair
"Are your parents coming for her birthday next week?" Dean asked, putting some steak in his mouth
"Yeah, mom and dad are coming, I can't wait, it's the first birthday she'll actually remember," Jade said, Dean nodded in agreement
"She's so damn precious," Jade said, smiling down at DJ
Jade leaned over the table and slowly, sweetly and passionately, kissed Dean
