"So that's the cake?" Dean asked looking at the round chocolate cake on the table, Jade nodded

"And I have her tricycle, with a bow in the backyard, are we all set?" Dean asked

Jade nodded

"Yeah I think we are," she said smiling as Dean's lips met her and he slipped his tongue into her mouth and Jade's hand went to Dean's hair

Just then, the doorbell rang

Jade pulled from Dean and sighed

"We'll pick this up later," Dean winked, leaving her to go and open the door

His little girl ran in front of him and to the door, oh these 6 months really went by fast

He chuckled as she tried to reach the doorknob, he laid a hand on her shoulder and opened the door for her

"Gamma, gampa," she said in her little voice, she wasn't the best at pronouncing words just yet

"DJ!" Stephanie yelled, bending to hug her

Triple H hugged Dean and then embraced his granddaughter

"Mom, dad," Jade called as she met her parents with a hug

"Hi sweetie," her dad said, kissing her forehead

"Mommy," a tiny voice called, tugging on Jade's top

Jade bent to her daughter's level

"Dress itchy," she said pouting and pulling at the dress

Jade smiled and picked her up, excusing herself to change DJ's outfit

She changed DJ and watched as she ran to her grandfather

"Gampa, uppy," she called raising her two little hands up

Paul happily grinned and pulled her into his lap

Jade smiled, watching Dean and Paul talk while DJ played with Paul's face and Stephanie helped her in the kitchen

"Hey munchkin, I have a gift for you," Paul said, reaching to his side and producing a gift bag

"But you have to smile first," Paul said, making a weird smile and pointing to it, and his weird smile, made Jade and DJ smile

She giggled and squirmed as she tore open the bag and laughed happily as she saw the new dress

"Thank you gampa," she said, smiling a toothy grin

Paul chuckled

"No problem munchkin," he replied

Then she got off his lap and went to her dad

"Daddy, on," she said, shoving the dress into Dean's hand

"Mommy just changed you princess," he said

Her bottom lip trembled and Dean quickly got up

"Alright you little diva, let's get your new dress on," he said, picking her up and walking up the stairs

"Is it itchy?" Dean asked, watching her twirl in the mirror

She shook her head and ran back downstairs, her happy laughs following her

Dean exasperatedly sighed, this child was too much, thank god Jade and himself were fit because this child was hyperactive

He walked down with them

"Mommy," DJ called looking at Jade as she cut the cake

"Yes, sugar cake?" She replied cutting a piece for her mom

"I tired," DJ said, rubbing her eyes and looking at Jade

"Okay baby, I'll put you down soon okay," Jade said, cutting a piece for her dad

DJ sighed and kept looking at Jade

Triple H looked at her

"May your dreams be as sweet as you are," he said using a scary voice but DJ only laughed happily at him

"I'll get her to bed babe," Dean said, picking her up and she laid her head on her daddy's shoulder
"Thank you," Jade whispered after them

He winked at her and kept walking

Stephanie excused herself to the bathroom while Jade sat with her dad

"So I know we've never really been the closest father and daughter until recently and sometimes I may not always show it, hell I never even told you this before, neither did I think about saying it, but watching you today, and how you are with Dani, I realized just how much you've changed my life dad, I love you." Jade said, looking at his facial reaction

Triple H wiped a stray tear

"I've always loved you baby girl, and I always will," he said, hugging Jade tightly

"I love you so much daddy," she said into his shoulder, her eyes, tightly shut

"I love you too my girl," he whispered, smiling and thanking god silently for this amazing person in his arms, his daughter.
