No Longer Hurt

She kept trying to mend

her shattered heart,

hoping to finally fix it,

with every piece she put together,

she remembered why it was broken,

tears clouded up her vision,

and she was afraid to let anyone see,

she became so fragile and weak,

and she wouldn't even speak.

-

Every drop cleanses the hurt,

and it slowly washes away the misery she feels,

so she sits alone in the rain

and hope she heals

-

She no longer sits outside,

instead she watches the drops

trickle down her window,

she's half way through putting it back together,

i've helped her through it all ,

and now she no longer sees me as a bother,

-

Her smile has fully returned,

and those eyes no longer show any sign

of who she used to be,

she leaps at me

with that beautiful smile in full view,

she whispers something in my ear,

and it was quite clear,

and in reply i said

'I love you too'.
