I woke up for the first time in years feeling alive, it's funny how the last person you thought could help you would be your savior, I had raced for the first time in years yesterday with Kendrick by my side I felt so alive I felt like how it been when Travis was alive. Like yesterday couldn't get any better I had raced with the best racers there and killed it Kendrick proudly told the owner of the tracks who I was he referred to me as the Cole legacy the manager had offered a huge amount of money to become my manager he said he'd hire me and get me back into the game, at first I had no intention of continuing racing especially with school and my job but Kendrick was right Travis would have wanted this and Kendrick had spent hours encouraging me to so I did. I was brought back to reality by the vibration from my phone.

"hey" it was a text from Kendrick my heart did a little flip

"hi" I texted back almost immediately

"come down I have a surprise for you" what he had a surprise for me hasn't he done enough I grabbed my shoes and headed outside my heart was beating so loud I was so scared I was going to pass out

"hey" I said walking down I didn't see anything just him "if you say your my surprise I'll kill you for making me come down here" I said crossing my arms around my chest

"guessing from how quick you came down I'll say you wanted to see me more than the surprise" he said moving close to me uncrossing my hands from my chest as he slid one hand under my hoodie to circling my waist and his other hand cupping my face as he lean closer to my face "well having me as a surprise comes with other surprises" he whispered into my ear before leaning to kiss my neck oh my goodness that felt so good my skin felt a burning sensation and he traced my spine "breath Saint" shit he could tell well there's no way I'm going to let him win this time

"well if your my surprise I guess I'm free to do as I please with you" I whispered

"why not let's head to your apartment" I stood still in shock as he continued to trace my spine with his hands causing goose bumps I wanted so badly to kiss him what I'm I think stop Keisha

"come Saint let's get to actually surprise" he said letting go of me as I stood still do much for trying to get back at him "FYI I think sexy when you try to hide your nervousness by playing along but stick with being innocent" there goes me trying to get back at him he just had to be a know it all doesn't he

"what happened to your cars" I said as he handed me his helmet and he got on the motorcycle

"I wanted your arms around me Saint" he said with a grin I wish I could wipe of with acid or some highly concentrated bathroom detergent

"prude" I rolled my eyes at him as I got on the motorcycle

A few minutes later we were at the mall."why are we at the mall" I said still a little bit confused about everything before he could respond we were approached by a blond hair boy with brown eyes, muscular figure about 6.5ft who had introduced himself as Tanner, and also my a red head he had introduced himself as Andre he wasn't as muscular as Tanner he was about his height but more on the skinny side he had wide broad shoulders his whole stature was compliment by his black coloured eyes call me stereotypical but I usually expected red heads to come with green eyes

"Saint these are my friends Andre and Tanner you guys met Saint" he said introducing us I hit him with my elbow as he referred to me as Saint but my tiny elbows seem not to hurt him

"I'm Keisha nice to meet you" I said politely before giving Kendrick the why I'm in here anyway look

"We're here to get you a new wardrobe" what the hell

''new wardrobe" I shouted

"you said you couldn't afford it so I thought I could get you one, I called the guys to help judge Now let's get stared" before I had the opportunity to protest I was dragged towards the ladies section.

I came out of the dressing room for the eleventh time the guys had put together their own outfit for me to try out while the judge I got to know them a little more Andre was more like me he was quite and shy but he seem social around people he's known for long, Tanner on the other hand was bold, daring, funny, he reminded me more of Kendrick except he was more of a flirt

"you look beautiful" Kendrick

"you look amazing" Andre

"you look sexy" Tanner

Kendrick had been growling at Tanner's casual flirting attempts the was an incident when Tanner had chosen and v neck top which showed off way to much Kendrick had threaten to kill him for looking at me in that manner

"Kendrick can you come in here" I said as I got into the dressing room siting down on the floor

"Baby you okay" he said getting down on his knee to reach my height as I was sitting down

"I lied I can afford a new wardrobe"

"why will you lie" he said with a hurt expression on his face

"I'm not comfortable with my body those baggie clothes help me hide it" I said hiding my face inbetween my knees before Kendrick used his hands to lift up my head as he looked into my eyes

"you don't weigh two hundred pounds anymore and even if you did you'll still be as hot as you are now" how he seemed to know exactly what to say was a shock to me

"we can stop if you don't want to"

"no your friends spent all day picking out outfits I'm going to continue" I said as he kissed my forehead before he stood

"Kendrick"

"yeah"

"thank you"
