"Y/n, why are you up so early..?" Karma yawned. "Sorry I woke you up, I was just searching around and saw that a new café opened nearby." I said. "Do you wanna go there for breakfast?" He asked. "We'd have to leave really early though." I stated. "It's fine, we're both already awake anyways." I shrugged.

"I'm gonna get ready then," I stood up and stepped off the bed, slightly falling. I grabbed my uniform from my bag and headed out into the bathroom.

We arrived at the café and got a table. I began looking through the menu when a waitress came by. "Ohayo gozaimasu, my name is Kimiko and I'll be serving you. Have you chosen what you would like?" She asked. "I actually have a question." I stated. She nodded. "The other waitresses have longer skirts than yours and I'm sure they all didn't just get a bigger size... It's pretty indecent to alter your skirt so it's shorter~" Her face turned a bright red.

"Listen here brat. When you're my age you get pretty desperate for a boyfriend, guys my age and type are hard to find because they all have girlfriends. Cafe's like this one tend to attract guys. I'm sure your boyfriend can't help but look and imagine." Kimiko hissed. "He's pretty good looking too..." Kimiko softened as she said that. "Pedophile!" I shouted. Her face turned red again. She grabbed me by the collar of my uniform and neared my face. "Are you trying to get me to lose my job? Order, eat, drink or whatever, and get out."

She let go of my collar then straightened herself. "I'll have the limited time sweet Kyoto coffee. Also, don't be a bitch about it." She gritted her teeth. "I'll have the same." Karma said. Kimiko dashed off after she had taken our orders.

"I give her a negative fifty out of 10." I stated. "In what way?" Karma asked. "She was able to make herself look like a cute maid in a maid cafe but her uniform gave it away so in that sense her rating's pretty low... Her service was terrible, getting hostile with a customer verbally and physically? I have trust issues because of people like her." I answered. "I'm sure one of her co-workers saw what happened and deal with it, but just in case I'll make sure to send a note to her boss." How lucky am I as to have someone like Karma in my life?

"But Y/n, this is a maid cafe, you do know that, right?" He questioned. "...That makes much more sense." I replied.

Soon enough our orders arrived at our table but with a new waitress. "I'm sorry about Kimiko~chan's behavior, she has a short temper and our manager will speak with her soon. Both coffee's will be half off because of the earlier incident. Enjoy!" The waitress bowed and went to serve another table.

"This brings back good and bad memories." I said tapping my finger against the drink. "I know the good memories but the bad memories?" Karma questioned.

"First off that gang of high schoolers, the girls chat at night at the hotel- which I was fine with until Okuda~san spoke- and not bad at all just creepy, the red string of fate thing..." I looked at my pinky, is there seriously an invisible red string there? "I was pretty happy hearing the red string of fate thing." Karma smiled. "It was probably a boost of confidence since you were gonna confess on the balcony." He stared at me wide eyed.

"It took you this long to figure out?" He exclaimed. "Well, you know me, I'm pretty oblivious." I grinned. "'Pretty oblivious'? More like, very oblivious." I puffed out my cheeks, "I'm not that oblivious like those anime girls that take the entire show to realize that someone is in love with her! If we were in an anime we'd be at the middle of the first season!" I exclaimed. (FOURTH WALL, FOURTH WALL!)

"How would I know? I don't watch shōjo anime!" I smirked, "Girls watch cute romance animes, you're in a shōjo anime then. Girls fangirl over any hot or cute guy, you're the one girls obsess over, and Nagisa~kun too, he'd be considered the cinnamon roll of this anime. We're the couple of this anime, we're the main characters." Karma let out a sigh in response.
