Marinette's POV

Why was he acting like that? I couldn't help but worry about Adrien. I've never seen him like that before. Maybe Nino is right. Maybe he is sick.

Does that mean it was me who got him sick? I mean, he had helped me up after I tripped... Was I sick? Did I contaminate him? He'll never love me now! I ruined my chances with him!

"Hey, girl!" Alya said suddenly, making me jump slightly. I hate when she does that! Especially when I'm lost in thought!

I was just about to say something about it when I noticed that she was folding up a piece of paper and stuffing it in her pocket. "We should hang out at the park after school."

My eyes lit up. "Sounds fun!" I replied. We always have a great time at the park!

Alya put her hands on my shoulders. "Of course it will!" I then noticed her nod at Nino, who gave her a thumbs up in return.

"What was that about?" I asked. That was usually what her and I do when we have a plan. Was Nino also the one who gave her that paper?

"Oh, nothing." Alya said quickly. "Just happy you can hang." She turned to look at the teacher, seeming to avoid eye contact with me.

I shook my head and smiled. I'd just have to trust Alya, knowing she wouldn't tell me anymore about it no matter how hard I tried to get it out of her.

As class seemed to drag on, I thought about my time as my alter ego, Ladybug. The wind through my hair, the adrenaline I felt protecting Paris, the friendship I felt with my partner...

I couldn't help but think about all the good times we had shared. Fighting Hawk Moth's akumas were tiring, but always an adventure with Chat Noir. He's cunning, smart, and a huge flirt.

I smiled slightly and rolled my eyes at the thought of him. Chat Noir always knew how to put me in a good mood, though I'd never admit it. His use of puns was incredibly high, but I didn't really mind them.

I thought about how much he flirted with me, calling me Bugaboo, and M'Lady. I thought it was really sweet, but I couldn't reply to his feelings. It made me feel horrible at times.

Sometimes I wished that I could love Chat Noir as he loved me, but I couldn't give up on Adrien. He was so... perfect.

Ever since that day he let me use his umbrella, I couldn't help but fall in love with him. Adrien was so kind hearted, but misunderstood. It seemed like anyone else only liked him because of his looks or career.

I glanced at him and a pink blush spread across my cheeks. I wished I could just tell him, or at least talk to him without mixing up my words.

At the sound of the school bell, I packed up my things. Alya and I walked out of the classroom together.

"What are we going to do?" I asked curiously.

"Don't worry about it!" Alya said chuckling. "We're just going to hang out, it'll be fun! You'll see."

I giggled a little. I didn't know why I was so curious. We were just going to hang out, nothing too exciting.

Alya sat under a tree, and I sat next to her. Alya kept looking around while we talked about various topics. The LadyBlog, Ladybug, Adrien...

"You're gonna have to tell him someday, girl!" Alya said. She teasingly nudged me with her elbow.

"I know, I know." I sighed. "I just don't know how, or when."

Alya pulled me into a hug. "You'll know when the time is right, Marinette." She said reassuringly. "Don't rush and you'll be fine."

"Hey, dudes." I jumped at the sound of Nino's voice. I turned and saw Nino walking towards them with...

Adrien! Why is he here? Now? I'm not ready!

"Hey Nino!" Alya said, patting the ground next to her. Nino sat down next to her, across from me. Adrien sat in the empty place next to Nino, also next to me, and across from Alya.

"Hey, Marinette, Alya." Adrien said, smiling big. "I didn't know you two would be here!"

Alya and Nino chuckled lightly. "Crazy." They said simultaneously. They exchanged a look, and continued to laugh.

I was looking at the ground, avoiding eye contact with Adrien. My cheeks felt hot. I couldn't believe that he, Adrien Agreste, was sitting next to me.

"Since we're all here..." Alya said. "We should play a game. Just the four of us."

I looked up at Alya. "T-that sounds fun!" I tried not to stutter, but knowing I might soon be playing a game with my crush, made me nervous.

Adrien nodded and looked at Nino.

"What game?" Nino asked. He gave Alya an I-know-what-you're-up-to look.

Alya smirked. "Truth or Dare?" She suggested in a tone that worried me. I would have to play. This was no suggestion.

"Yeah!" Nino said enthusiastically. "What do you think, dude?"

I shyly glanced at Adrien. His look of confusion and excitement surprised me.

"Sounds fun." Adrien said. "How's it played?" He looked at Alya and Nino with big eyes and a wide grin.

"Oh, first time huh?" Alya asked, smiling slyly at me. "Well, let's say that it is your turn, and you choose Marinette. You ask her 'truth or dare'. If she chooses truth, then you ask her any question you want to. If she chooses dare, then you can dare her to do anything."

Nino nods as Alya talks. "Once she completes the truth or the dare, it is her turn to ask anyone 'truth or dare', except for you." He said.

Adrien nodded slowly. "I think I get it." He said.

"It's easy." Alya said. "You'll figure it out along the way. Who's first?"

I looked away from Alya. I didn't mind playing, but I wasn't best at the game. I just needed a little time to think for a good question and a dare.

"I'll go!" Nino said. He looked at the other three. "Marinette, truth or dare?"

I looked at Nino in surprise. Usually I wasn't the first picked. "Uhh..." I said. "Truth." Starting things off easy.

Nino looked at Alya, who nodded. "Okay, Marinette," Nino started. "Have you already had your first kiss?"

No, of course not! I was going to say this, but the battle with Dark Cupid came into mind. I blushed a dark pink as I recalled kissing Chat Noir. But that was only to break the spell, right? It wasn't a real kiss... Was it?

"Marinette," Alya said suspiciously. "You're blushing... Have you?"

I couldn't talk. I just slowly nodded my head, and looked away from Alya.

"Girl!" Alya squealed. "How could you not tell me? Who was it?"

"I-I... D-don't..." I stammered. "I don't know who he i-is" I finally said. I wasn't lying. I really didn't know Chat Noir's identity.

"My turn!" I said quickly before anyone could say anything else. "Adrien! Truth or dare?" I didn't realize I had just asked my crush. I said the first name that came to mind. Turning bright red, I hid my face in my hands.

"Dare." Adrien answered.

My mind whirled. I couldn't think straight. "I d-dare you t-to... To... Er..." I struggled finding words. I couldn't understand why my mind wandered to Chat Noir. "I dare you to do a front flip off that bench," I pointed to a nearby bench. "and land doing splits."

As Adrien looked at me with surprise, I covered my mouth. Why did I dare him to do that? I don't want him to get hurt trying something he can't do!
