Indeed this is true.We,the people,are trying to blame eveything on the society.To quote 'We are ashamed to live in such a society.'But why?Why are we ashamed?Is our society made up of a single human being?Don't we live here?Aren't we the one who created it?Aren't we the ones destroying it?Aren't we the ones who should uplift it? Yes we are. Instead of blaming the 'bad' deeds on on someone else,why don't we blame ourselves?When a child or a woman is molested on the road,we are the people who stand there,not moving an inch.Clicking pictures and shooting videos.Not even caring to call the cops or to call for an ambulance.Just standing there and repenting 'I wish I had done something' when the victims have already resigned to the cruelty of the society.And we are the same people,who share messages of hate,of regret and of sympathy.We are the people who update our stories and statuses to exhibit hatred and anger for the molesters.We are the people who remove our DPs in protest.We are the people who hold rallies and protests against the molesters.We are the people who hold candle light marches and walk kilometers of distance to show our agitation. But is this what we are supposed to do?See the crime happening in front of our eyes,do nothing and then show how much we care on our social media for the sake of mere showoff? NO. We are not supposed to do this. We need to change. Change our thoughts.Change our mentality.Change our society. Only then can we say that we are against Rape and that we are against the rapists.Otherwise,what is the difference between the rapists and us,the so called 'right-minded' people?_________________________________
