"Junseo, will you be my girlfriend?" Jinhwan asked.

My eyes widened and my jaw dropped. "I...um..."

"If...you don't then it's...fine."

"...yeah." I said.

"Yeah?"

"I'll be your girlfriend." I said, wearing a soft smile.

"Yes!!!" Jinhwan cheered. "Mission success. You may eat now."

"I wouldn't have said yes if there wasn't food." I side-eyed him as I put popcorn in my mouth.

Jinhwan frowned. "You're so mean!!"

"I'm just kidding! Obviously I would say yes, ahjussi."

"Don't call me that." He pouted and sat on the sofa.

"Ahjussi~ ahjussi~" I teased.

Jinhwan shut me up by putting his hand over my mouth. I stuck my tongue out and licked his palm.

"Ew!!!" He wiped his hand on my thigh. "Junseo!!"

I laughed. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry."

"Shut up, the movies starting." He said.

"Is this a horror movie?" I asked.

Jinhwan nodded.

"Are you hoping that I'll be scared so you can show your manliness?" I raised my eyebrow.

"You caught me." He said.

"These don't scare me." I said, shoveling popcorn inside my mouth.

"You'll see." Jinhwan said.

"AHHH!!" We both screamed when the ghost-lady jumped at the screen.

"FUCK THIS!" I said, covering my face with the blanket.

"No! We're going to suffer together!!" Jinhwan said, pulling down the blanket.

The movie got quieter, signaling that there was soon to be another jump scare.

A high pitched scream was heard from the tv, followed by Jinhwan and I's shrieks.

"I don't wanna watch this anymore!!" I said. "This is scary as fuck!"

"Me neither!" Jinhwan said, shutting off the tv.

I wiped my sweat and let my breath catch up. "I'm having nightmares tonight."

Jinhwan gulped and wiped his (never ending) sweat too. "This is why I never watch these."

I stretched my arms and popped my neck.

"Well the plans didn't go as I expected."

"It's okay, this was still nice." I said.

"You're only saying that because there was food."
