chapter eight: Compromise

when I got back from hunting.I went back to the main house.when I got there it was dead silent.Eryone was outside waiting for me and they were smiling very hard at me.edward than walked up to me and unexpectly hugged and kissed me.I was beginning to feel weird because of this too.

"why is everybody so happy?", I asked in confusion

"Renesmee", he said with a smile

I gave him a confused look."what about her?", I asked

"the baby...she named her after you love", he explained

"is that to her way of apologizing me?", I asked

he nodded.

I sighed."well,I'll forgive her but she can't talk to me like that again", I said

"a compromise?", he said as he made that crooked smile that I loved

"yeah." I smile then turned to emmett."emmett how about a bet since your still about the arm wrestling match"

"Surrrrreeeee", he slurred with a smile."what are we doing?"

"a race.if I win I get to smash all of your videogames and if you win you can make all the jokes and stuff that you've been holding in about my private life for one day", I said

"fair enough, where are we running too?", he asked

"Alaska and back"

"that's good enough little sister", he said with a grin

"we start tomorrow morning 10:30 on the dot", I challenged

"got it"

we shook hands.

"you have no idea what you are getting yuourself in", he said

"you said that before and what happen?, you lost", I taunt

I turned back to edward who was laughing at us.

"any way,do you want to see nessie?", he asked

"um..."

"bella,she feels very bad about the way she's been acting", alice said

"she really does and wants to apologize", edward said

I sighed."fine,but you owe me", I said

"I know", he whispered in my ear and winked at me

man,if I could blush right now I would been tomatoe red right now.

"where is she?", I asked

"in her room upstairs....jacob is looking at you right now", he said

I looked up at the window and saw jacob he smiled then walked back away from my view.

"let's go", he said

he took my hand and we went into the house and up the stairs.it was kind of weird because we weren't fighting or agruing.we walked up to the third floor to where her room is.we were now in front of her door and he opened it and walked in.

"jacob,bella would like to have a word with ness", he said

I imagined him doing his alpha wolf nod.he walked out and smiled at me.I smiled back.edward then led me into the room.renesmee was sitting up on the bed with a cradle against the wall with a sleeping child in it.

"Hello", I greeted

"hi,mom", she said

I looked up at edward."you can go I'll be at the cottage in a few", I assured

"behave", he said

"I will", I assured then he left

Renesmee and I just stared at one another not saying anything.

"so you wished to talk to me?", I asked

"yes,you hear about my daughters name?", she asked

I nodded.

"mom,I'm sorry.I didn't mean to be a bitch towards you.you didn't disserved that at all.I'm really really sorry I wasn't thinking at all about what I was doing honestly", she said

I walked to the bed and sat down."I forgive you,but why were you actingb like that?", I asked

"I guess I was mad because of what you said about me and jacob.", she admitted

I pulled her in a hug."its okay alright.just don't do it again", I said

"I won't.", she promised."I heard you are racing Emmett to Alaska", she said

I nodded."yeah,I'm just hoping we don't run into tanya.because that would be a blood bath right there", I said

"I know what you mean"

"I gotta go.your dad is waiting for me", I said as I got up

"see yah later", she said

"you love you", I said then left

I looked at jacob who was on his phone texting I guess.I tapped his shoulder and he looked up with a smile.

"you can go back in now", I said

"thanks,night bells", he said

"night"

I walked out the house once I was in the beginning of the forest I broke out into a sprint to my house.When I got there edward was in the bedroom waiting for me with a smile on his face.Then my training began.
