Minkyun got the shock of his life when Kihyun staggered forward and slammed his head into his shoulder.

What's going on?

He put his arms around Kihyun gingerly, enveloping him in a gentle hug. It didn't take him long to realize that Kihyun, the most cold-hearted person he ever met, was crying into his shoulder.

Something must have happened. He noticed that a few of the cafe goers had gathered outside the cafe to see what was going on. Slightly irritated by their lack of consideration, Minkyun quickly brought Kihyun to his car, pushing him in before getting in himself.

There was an awkward silence, only occasionally broken by the sound of Kihyun's ragged breathing. After what seemed like forever, Kihyun looked up at Minkyun. They stared at each other for a few moments before breaking into nervous laughter.

"Please pretend nothing happened," Kihyun said while he wiped his eyes dry. Minkyun nodded but gave Kihyun a squeeze on the shoulder.

"Seriously though, is there anything you want to talk about?" Kihyun shook his head and shot him a stiff smile. "Everything's fine, really."

Minkyun shrugged. "If you say so," He glanced at his watch, "are we going over now?" Kihyun nodded and started the engine. "Sorry for the delay." Minkyun patted him on the back. "Nah, it's fine. Just make sure you are though." Kihyun turned to Minkyun with a look of gratitude in his eyes.

"I know it isn't in my nature to do this, but I sincerely thank you for everything you've done for me." He began pulling out of the driveway.

Minkyun hastily fastened his seatbelt. He had taken enough rides with Kihyun to know that the latter was a monster on the road.

They rode mostly in silence, with Minkyun occasionally snorting at the curses Kihyun muttered under his breath every time they met a red light. It didn't take long for them to reach the warehouse.

"We're here." Kihyun stopped the car and gestured for Minkyun to get out.

Minkyun didn't get out immediately but chose to remain seated. "Hello? We're here?" Kihyun elbowed him in the ribs. With a small smile, Minkyun glanced at Kihyun.

"I'm sorry for being incompetent and always causing you unnecessary trouble," He apologized and scratched the back of his head guiltily, "I know it isn't easy being the leader, and I, too, am sincerely thankful for all you've done for us."

"I know it's impossible for us," Minkyun gestured to Kihyun and himself, "to ever happen, but if you ever need a confidant, hey, I'm always here."

He leaned forward and was about to give Kihyun a hug when the latter pulled him in and kissed him full on.

Oh well, some things never change.
