Despite having being in a relationship with Kihyun for almost a year, Hyunwoo still felt as though there was something holding them back.

Maybe it's because of my parents. His parents weren't exactly supportive of his relationship with Kihyun. He didn't blame them either.

What kind of parents would approve of their son dating a gang member?

There was also something about Kihyun that made it hard for him to get close to. He always had this air of secrecy around him, and he was rarely around for them to hang out together.

But somehow this didn't weaken their relationship. They existed harmoniously with each other. When Kihyun was actually around, he would bring Hyunwoo out on a nice date, which usually consisted of a fancy meal at an expensive restaurant. There were a few occasions where Kihyun accompanied Hyunwoo on his flights.

Hyunwoo always wondered how rich Kihyun actually was. Today he just found out that Kihyun and his gang owned the mega-yacht he was onboard. Not to mention that Kihyun had just casually given a luxury car to Hyunwoo a few minutes ago.

Deep down, he still wished Kihyun spent more time with him rather than shower him endlessly with expensive gifts. It made their relationship seem like nothing more than one in which Kihyun paid to keep Hyunwoo around him.

Still, he couldn't complain. It was because of these gifts that Hyunwoo was able to give his parents a better life. They had recently renovated their restaurant to fit more customers.

Hyunwoo watched as Kihyun stretched out on the deck lounge chair, his sunglasses perched stylishly on the tip of his nose.

"What are you looking at?" Kihyun called out from the other end of the deck. Hyunwoo shook his head and began exploring the rest of the yacht.

It seemed like they were the only ones aboard at that time. There was a dining room on the main deck, and the table was bare, except for a brown silk tablecloth draped over its surface.

Hyunwoo explored further and found a mini cinema. He sat down in one of the seats and leaned against the soft the velvet material. The cool air from the AC felt so soothing he could feel himself drifting off to sleep.

The boat rocked gently with the waves and he could feel his eyelids growing heavy. I wonder what Kihyun is thinking right now. He rubbed his wrist absentmindedly, remembering the time when Kihyun tagged him with a tracker. It felt like such a long time ago.

He wondered where Sihyeon was and what she was doing now. She's been gone for almost a year and none of us have heard of her ever since the fight at the club. Even Kihyun was clueless as to where she was despite having so many connections all over the world.

It was almost as if she had disappeared off the surface of the earth. He had tried calling her but she never ever picked up and all the calls ended in voicemail. Pulling out the car key from his pocket, he wondered if it was something he really needed.

With a sigh, he put the car key back into his pocket and headed back up to find Kihyun.
