A Date With Him

Y/N's POV
Today was just a normal day. Until it wasn't. I was working my usual shift, two hours before I was done for the day. Then something happened.

"ANYONE GOING ALONE? WE NEED A SINGLE PERSON!" I called.

"Over here!" Answered a familiar voice. Then Blaze pushed through the crowd, "I'm going alone."

"Really Blaze, where are your friends?" I asked him surprised.

"Tired of this ride," he responded with a smirk.

"Is that right. And you aren't tired?" I respond sarcastically.

"I could never get tired of a pretty face," he responds.

I could feel my face heat up. Pretty? Me? No... someone else.

"Oh yea, and who might that pretty face belong to?" I ask in a more nervous tone.

"You silly!" He responds with a cheeky grin.

My face instantly heated up. I felt like I was on fire.

"Th-thanks," I stammered.

"What time do you get off work?" He asks.

"Seven," I respond nervously.

"I'll pick you up at 8 then," He says flirtatiously before climbing into the roller coaster car.

I was blushing really hard. Did Blaze just ask me out? No, he didn't ask me. He told me to go out with him! Oh God! Blaze just told me to go out with him! Now I'm freaking out! I gotta get through my shift! Then I can freak out.

I'm back at my boat and am freaking out! Blaze is picking me up in an HOUR! I need Jenny right now but she doesn't get off until 8:30!

"Ok Y/N, you got this!" I said allowed, "who am I kidding! I don't got this!"

I took a deep breath, "Calm down Y/N."

"First things first, outfit" I shouted to myself.

I went into my closet. Nothing good.

"Why do I have no sense of style!" I grumbled to no one.

I then went into Jenny's closet. She had a lot of short dresses and skirts.

"Better than I have," I thought allowed.

I eventually settled on a white crop top with a black short skirt. I put my hair in a ponytail and did some quick makeup.

"Now I'm ready!" I smiled to myself.

"Do you talk to yourself often?" Asked a male voice.

"Gah!" I squealed jumping. I turned around and saw it was Blaze,"BLAZE!"

"What? It's cute!" He laughed.

"You scared me!" I said as my face heated up.

"Let's go Y/N," Blaze said with a laugh.

"Where are we going?" I asked as we exited the boat.

"Out to eat," he responded.

"Oh ok," I responded nervously.

"Then we'll wander the park and watched fire works!" He continued.

"Really? Cool!" I responded.

We walked the rest of the way to the restaurant in silence. It was peaceful but at the same time awkward.

"Dinner for two," Blaze said to the hostess, Natalie.

Natalie was a nice girl. She had blue hair that she died and a nose ring. She looked like someone who would be emo and grumpy but she is actually the exact opposite.

"Right this way!" She said cheerfully.

We sat at the table and looked at the menus Natalie gave us.

"Have a good time!" She chirped as she left.

I turned to look at Blaze who was studying his menu.

"Hi, I'm Michi, I'll be your waitresses," said the new girl Michi, "Can I start you two off with a drink?"

"I'll take a Poopsi," Blaze said.

"Me too," I say to Michi.

"I'll be right back with that!" Says Michi before running off.

"So... Y/N, where're you from?" Blaze asks breaking the awkward silence.

"I grew up in the city of O'kasis," I responded.

"Cool! I grew up in Phoenix Drop," he said.

"Do you have any siblings?" He asks.

"No," I respond with a sigh.

"Your an only child? Me too!" He laughs.

"I wouldn't really say that... I'm an orphan," I say sadly.

"Oh my gosh Y/N! I'm so sorry," Blaze said sympathetically.

"It's fine... you didn't know," I said with a reassuring smile.

"I'm back with your drinks!" Michi said placing our Poopsi's in front of us

"Thanks!" I said taking a sip.

"Can I take your orders?" She asked.

"Yea, I'd like the steak please!" Blaze responded happily.

"I'll take the f/f please," I said. (If you don't know, f/f means fav food).

"Right away!" Michi says before running off again.

We continue to talk and laugh. Michi comes back with our food and we eat as well as talk. Blaze is a pretty cool dude!

Afterwards we walked through the park. We talked some more and more. Blaze then bought me a Starry doll. It was adorable!

We then watched the firework show. It was beautiful! I've been working here for 3 years and haven't taken the time to watch them.

Afterwards Blaze took me back home.

"That was AMAZING! Thank you Blaze," I said happily.

"No problem. I had a lot if fun!" He answers.

"So, I guess I'll see you around," I say with a smile.

"Yea, I'll see you around," he repeats.

"Bye," I say before closing my door.

It was the best night ever! I went to bed and had dreams of my date with Blaze.

What's up dogs! Wacky Wolf here! How y'all doing! I'm doing good. Sorry for not getting this chapter out yesterday like I was supposed to. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. I figured it out though! I hope you enjoy this chapter! I love you all! Wacky Wolf AWAY! *flies out Magic's window*
