we kept running.

past the school.

past the park.

past dallon's house.

we kept running.

we soon rushed into a mcdonald's, and the group lost us after that. we sat down at a table in the back.

"that was insane," brendon said, panting.

"yeah," i sighed.

"ryan," brendon said.

"what?" i asked.

"n-nevermind," brendon said, looking down.

"brendon, you can tell me anything," i said, holding his hand. he gulped, and i could tell that something was up with him.

i saw something suspicious by the door. it was them.

he started to speak. "ryan, i-"

"run," i said.

i grabbed his hand, and ran to the back door. the gang was walking to mcdonalds, and we had to leave. we walked behind the building.

"brendon, what is it?" i asked.

"ryan, my family wants me to move again. this time all the way to freaking new york," he said, tears forming.

i tried not to let my tears fall. "brendon," i said, "follow me."
