We arrive back to school. Although I have been at this school since freshman year I never once attended a football game. Tonight was already crowded and I believe that is due to first championship game this season. This wasn't me, the get up, the late night with my peers. My usual nights were in bed talking with Noah on FaceTime or Spending the night at Caroline's. Amity might stop by or might stay the entire night, but she did that when Ethan has family nights or was out of town. She hasn't yet dragged me to a game or a party.

Amity and I were waiting in the long line full of the school's students, staff, and parents. "You said we were early. This isn't ridiculous." I state.

"We are the boys are only practicing. The game doesn't start for..." she paused looking down at her phone then continuing, "another 45 minutes. The game is at 7."

Amity went on texting whomever she was before I interrupted. I decided to text Noah before it got a little too late considering it's about 9:15 in New York. 'Wyd'.

'Nothing much, you up to anything.' He replied rather quickly.

'Nah, waiting in line at the game. Amity insisted I come'

'Sounds exciting'

'I most likely to third wheel it tonight at the party.'

'Caroline mentioned something about that.'

'I don't like parties'

'Ik'

The line quickly got shorter. When we finally got past the gate, I texted Noah, 'Goodnight, I'll fill you in on anything exciting.'

'K night'

"You know Jessie right, Noah's ex."Amity started. "She's in L.A. and met hell of people, like went on Ellen, a couple on social media."

"Shit, really?" I ask as Amity points her phone in my face.

"Mhm, Fuck that's cool." She states admiring some of the pictures.

"Parker's right there wanna sit with him?" I point out, making our way up the stadium.

We sat down on either side of Parker. He just the same as Amity seem to busy on their phones. Taking in my surroundings I see the football players practicing along the 50 yard line and Cheerleaders doing the same one the track around the perimeter of the field. I watch the stadium seats fill up. With a few empty seats around the three of us Amity waves some of her and Ethan's friends. Which just so happen to include Josh, one of Ethan's friends that wasn't a complete and utter ass, the brunette I have never seem to notice since earlier today, a redhead, and a tall, blond boy.

Half way through the game, the score was 18 and 6. Our school is winning and this group I still never really seemed to be apart of decided to move down to cheer for the players during half time. Nearly tripping over the brunette, which I still have yet to know the name of, was glaring at me when I accidently kicked her. At this point in the night I was tired and felt exactly how I thought I would, a third wheel. "Go panthers" screamed Amity and the rest of the gang in unison.

"Hey babe," Amity continued.

Then came the end of the line of players carrying themselves to the locker room. I quickly notice Ryder gawking over his conquest. For a split second he took a peek at me. I rolled my eyes at him, and focused back at the crowd of red and white jerseys moving beneath us. There he was again smirking and giving me a wink. Honestly I began to think I was crazy, he has a girlfriend, he was a stupid jock. I thought he was definitely looking at her, but that was put in check once I saw his lady distracted. What a pig.
