Kierra POV
"Honey that's your....mother" my father said.

"What" my voice became hoarse.

"Hey baby" she came closer to me and pulled me in a tight hug. I hugged back then pulled away.

"Baby I didn't tell you the full story about your mom... the truth is when I was doing a mission the enemies came and took her away I found her a week ago but I wasn't ready for you to meet her yet" my dad rubbed my back.

I nodded and looked at him then my mom.

"Baby say something" My dad shook me.

"H-hey mom" I felt a tear fall down my cheek.

"Aww she's crying" she kissed my cheek and hugged me again.

"I'll let you two talk" my dad kissed my forehead and left.

We pulled away from the hug and smiled at each other.

"So how old are you now baby?"

"23" I smiled.

"Oh my you have really grown up" she smiled.

"I know"

We talked for 3 hours then I looked at my phone hoping Derrick called or at least texted me. I was shocked that he didn't.

"Well mom I have to go" I hugged her.

"Okay baby girl give me your number"

I got her phone and put my number in.

"Okay I love you" she hugged me again. "I love you too mom" I hugged back.

I grabbed my keys and phone and headed out the door.

"Aye Ki" I heard someone say. I looked around to see my brother.

"Hey Tj" I hugged him.

"Where you headed" he asked.

"Home"

"Oh ight love you sis" he hugged me

"Love you too"

I hopped in my car and started it. I called Derrick.
No answer.

I pulled out the driveway and headed home.

I pulled up at my house and killed the engine.

I hopped out and walked inside my house.

Derrick POV
"Derrick you're so funny" Bianca hit me playfully.

"Nah ma" I laughed.

I bet y'all wondering who Bianca is. Well she's my ex girlfriend from years ago. We broke up because she moved away. We came to her new apartment to chill.
I looked at the time. 8:34

"Aye B I gotta go" I got off the couch.

"Ugh whyyy though we were having so much fun" she whined.

"I see you haven't changed cry baby.... but I have to go handle some business call me baby girl" I kissed her forehead and she smiled.

I picked her phone up off the couch and put my number in.

"I'll call you" she gave me a flirty smile.

"You better girl" I walked outside to my car and hopped in.

I looked at my phone and seen all the missed calls Kierra has left me. Damn I forgot about her.

I started my car and headed to her house.
