A new woman

Kierra POV
I woke up and looked at the clock next to my bed. It read 11:23. I dragged myself out of bed and made my way to the bathroom.

I brushed my teeth, took a hot 20 minute shower, and exited the bathroom with the towel still wrapped around me.

I looked in my walk in closet and grabbed my studded high waisted shorts, a white tank top, and my J's.
I looked in the mirror and smiled at how pretty I was.

I went downstairs to make breakfast for myself.

"We pose to be in love, pose to be in love"

I grabbed my phone and answered it. Without looking at the caller id.
*phone convo*
Me: Hello ?
??: Good morning beautiful

Me: Morning D *smiling*
D: What you doing today?

Me: Nothing much I was going to see my dad and brother
D: How about I take you out for lunch later around 2

Me: Okay
D: Meet me at MK

Me: Okay
*end of convo*
I was smiling really hard. I didn't even think he would call but he did.

After I ate breakfast, I grabbed my keys and my wallet and walked out the door.

I unlocked my Audi and hopped in.

I started it and made my way to my dad's house.

Derrick POV
Wassup y'all I'm D. I'm 6'1, lightskinned, hazel eyes, and I'm apart of the drug game. I'm 24 years old.

I don't know my mom or my dad. My grandma took me in when I was a little boy.

"Yo D where you headed?" K9, one of my homies asked.

"Nigga I'm grown why you worried" I laughed.

"Well I was just checking son"

"Son ?" I laughed

"Yeah"

"Whatever I gotta go but be back here at 11 with everybody we have business to handle I'm out" I said walking out the door.

"Ight boss" I heard him say.

It was almost time for me to meet Kierra for lunch and I had to go home and change.

Kierra POV
"So daddy where is Tj?" I asked my dad about my brother.

"Aww what's wrong baby you don't like spending time with your daddy?" he asked.

"No daddy I love the time we spend together but I haven't seen him in awhile" I laughed.

"Well he's out handling business sweetie" I nodded my head.

"So how are things on your end?" my dad asked.

"They're good"

Me and my dad talked for a little longer than I thought we would.

It looked at the time on my phone. 2:15

"Daddy I have to go" I stood up and hugged him.

"Okay daddy's baby I love you and you be careful now" he hugged me and kissed my cheek.

I walked outside and hopped in my car.

I pulled out the driveway and headed to MK.

I found a parking spot and hopped out.

I walked in and looked for Derrick.

I saw him waving his hand and I walked quickly toward him.

"Hey" I hugged him and sat down.

"Wassup baby girl"

"Nothing much how are you?"

"I'm good what about ya self?"

"I'm fine"

"Well I can see that girl you blessed"

I laughed and hit him playfully.

We talked for 3 hours straight. He told me about his twin brother dying after birth.

I feel so bad for him because he told me some sad stuff about his life.

"So its late and as much as I don't wanna leave I have to" I said.

"I understand I have to go to work tonight anyway"

"You never told me where you worked"

"Ahhh... well you'll find out later hopefully"

I gave him a look and he laughed.

I brushed it off and stood up.

"Call me" I kissed his cheek.

"I definitely will ma" he kissed back.

I laughed and walked away.

I got in my car and headed home. I really had a good time with Derrick, he's a nice guy.

I smiled at the fact that I was thinking about him already and he's not even my boo. Not yet anyway. I'm finally over Justin.

How is it?
I know its a little boring but the next chapter will be better I promise.
