"Yeah. I still can't believe they're together officially," I said.
After getting ready for the day, we made our way to the kitchen for breakfast.
"Morning," Dylan chimed as we strolled into the kitchen.
Char was sitting on a stool next to Jess and she had on a beautiful white dress. Or rather, she made the dress look beautiful. The dress was mid-thigh length, low-cut at the back and accentuated her tan. Needless to say, I was checking her out. Her hair was down and cascaded down her bare back.
"Morning boys," Jess responded.
"You guys look happy about something," Dylan smiled at them as he poured himself some cereal.
I felt like an outsider observing all this, not like a part of this. Anyway, Char and Jess were giddily giggling when we had entered the room so...?
"Yeah because Char just got off FaceTime with a certain hottie," Jess gushed.
I looked up and looked at Char. Her cheeks turned red and she sharply nudged Jess. She used to act like that about me.
"Who?" Dylan asked.
"A certain YouTuber!" Jess clapped excitedly.
"Jess," Char said, hushed.
"It's Kian!" Jess squealed.
Who's Kian?
"Oh wow. It seems like it went well," Dylan noted.
I turned my back to them and proceeded to make toast. I hated hearing this.
"Jess is over-exaggerating. It's not like it was a FaceTime date or anything like that," Char explained.
I couldn't tell if she was being honest or not. I hoped she was.
"Oh there was flirting," Jess said, "they were so cute!"
"Jess," Char giggled, "you need to calm down. It was just friendly banter."
"Hmm-mm," Jess replied, clearly not convinced.
Not sure if I was either.
This wasn't the best start to the day: hearing about Char's possible date. I honestly hated this so much.
But shortly after, this Kian dude posted this:
