I skipped happily along the sidewalk as I approached my apartment. Well it wasn't just my apartment, it was also my boyfriends. Link and I have been sharing an apartment for probably a year now. Anyway I reached the door and unlocked it. I opened it and dramatically yelled, "CHRISTMAS CAME EARLY"! Link who was asleep on the couch jumped up and fell. "(Y/n) what the heck"!? I ignored his angry pout and proceeded to walk over to him. In my hand was a bag that contained one of the greatest things ever. "So Link you know how I said I had to run an important errand"? He rubbed his head and nodded. "Well lets just say we have been waiting forever for this and thank god I finally purchased it". Link sighed, "come on quit stalling and let me see it". "Alright, alright". I pulled out of the bag the new game Cuphead for Xbox 1. Link squealed like a fanboy and grabbed the game out of my hand.

"OMG you finally got it"! He hugged the game case to his chest and I chuckled. "Yep, now hand it over so we can play". He quickly handed me the game and I put it in. I grabbed two controllers and handed one to Link. I was Cuphead and Link was Mugman. We played for so long and the hours consisted of screaming, cussing, and throwing stuff that was around us. Three more hours of trying to proceed through levels and I finally threw the controller down and stood up. "That's it I rage quit"! Link nodded and put down his controller. "Yeah I think we need a break". I huffed and sat down with my arms crossed. I then leaned my head on Link's shoulder and he chuckled. "Does someone need some ice cream"? I quickly sat up and yelled, "HECK YEAH"! Link covered his ears, "ok just don't shout, I can't go deaf. I need to be able to listen to don't mess with king dice". I nodded, "yeah that song is catchy". I stood up and grabbed the house keys. "Ok lets go"! Link chuckled and followed me out the door.

Link and I were back on the couch in our living room playing Cuphead. Once again another hour filled with rage, cussing, and this time it was Link who rage quit. I laughed as he crossed his arm and leaned his head back. "This game is impossible", he grumbled. I chuckled, and kissed his cheek. He looked at me with a blush and I chuckled. "Lets make a deal, if you beat this level in under 10 tries I do whatever you want for the week". He thought for a moment, "and if I don't beat it"? I grinned, "I get you soul"! Link looked at me blankly before throwing a pillow at my face. I laughed as he sighed, "you need help (Y/n)". I huffed, "oh come on that was good material and you know it". Link shook his head, "no it wasn't, for crying out loud San's has tons more material than you". I smirked, "skeletons more"? I laughed and fell off the couch while Link face palmed, "I walked into that". I managed to stop laughing and sat back down on the couch. "Yeah you did, but in all seriousness if you don't beat the level you do what I say for the week. Deal"? Link thought for a moment, "deal". We shook on it and to no ones surprise Link lost, and took 15 tries to beat the boss.

Lets just say I got to keep his favorite blue hoodie all week while he did house chores. He also wasn't allowed to play any video games. He almost cried when the week ended and he got to games and relax.
