new arrival

a confused India

I am so confused about what is happening i don't want mummy and daddy to not love each other any more. If they don't love each other can they still love me. why would daddy leave. Maybe daddy left because i was mean to him the day of the dinner when i kept calling him John maybe im to blame for him leaving and making mummy cry. I must be a bad little girl to cause them to split up

i have been feeling very sad since mummy told me about the split up not even Uncle Paul can make me happy any more. I just want to go home to see daddy but he is not there no more i don't know where he is. i overheard Uncle George call Daddy's new girlfriend a witch because she follows daddy everywhere and she sits at the place where daddy makes his music and my uncles don't like her.

i am still in bed though Paul has been calling me for ages to get out of bed and ready for school but i don't feel well im cold and my nose keeps running and my head hurts and daddy is not here to give me a magical kiss to make me feel better and that just makes my heart start to hurt. Every time i think of Daddy my heart hurts and i don't know why

" India" Paul said storming into my room

" i told you to get out of bed you are going to be so late for school today"

" i don't feel well Paul "

Paul walked over to the side of the bed and noticed that India was very pale and she did look sick

" you don't look well at all im going to get you to the doctors and see what is wrong"

Paul was new to looking after kids so whenever India got ill he went straight into panic mode. he grabbed India and carried her into his car and wrapped a blanket around her while she fell back to sleep and he drove a little faster than he should of been to get India to the doctors

thankfully they did not have to wait long until India was seen by a very nice doctor and he checked her over and smiled at Paul

" well your daughter is fine she just has a cold just keep her well rested and make sure she drinks alot and she will feel better in a few days"

" he isn't my daddy silly he is my uncle" 

"don't be so rude India now say sorry to the doctor for your rudeness"

" but i was not being rude i was telling him he made a mistake just like you tell me when i make a mistake "

Paul could not argue back as she was right so he just laughed

" sorry Doctor she is a character she is John's kid im just looking after her"

" oh i see well she is better with you than that horrible woman that John is with now. Gosh she looks horrible" the doctor said making his opinion very clear

" you have seen my daddy and his new girlfriend" India asked 

" well i saw them on the tv"

" why is my daddy and his girl on the tv?"

" oh because everyone is wanting to see Yoko"

" who is Yoko"

" she is John's new girlfriend"

" ok that's enough i think you have told her more than enough" Paul shot back at the doctor

" im sorry Mr McCartney i just assumed she knew

" well i would like if you kept your opinions regarding my band mate and his new bird for when your not working i don't pay you for your opinions on my mates personal life"

" again im sorry i said to much"

" yes you did"

Paul grabbed India and carried her to the car muttering something about nosy doctors

Paul was driving home and was still a tad angry with the doctor with the big mouth

" i don't want to meet Yoko any more she does not sound nice"

" awww Yoko is not as bad as that silly doctor made her out to be she is just a bit different to other people so people are cruel to her and say mean things to her because she is not as pretty as your mummy is"

A few hours passed and Paul decided to work on making another song while India was having her nap when the doorbell rang and Paul cursed thinking that he wont ever get the time to make a start on a new song

he opened the door and saw John standing there his hand linked with Yoko's

" what are you doing here" Paul asked

" well ain't that a nice welcome Macca"

" im sorry come in"

Paul went and made himself and John and Yoko a cup of tea and they sat down in the basement which Paul turned into his mucic room 

" what brought you's over here then" 

" well we wanted to tell you before you heard on the tv that me and Yoko just got married "
