Today, there's a new teacher coming after only two weeks of school starting. Mrs Mendes has been pregnant since last year, and I really hope that the teacher is going to be nicer than her. I'm happy that the bitch is gone. 

There are rumors that the new teacher is extremely hot, and even that he's really, really tall. And he's married to Mrs Mendes. I walk up to my locker and take out my chemistry books. I groan when I realize that I have chemistry first. KILL ME NOW. I struggle so much in chemistry. My dad always goes on about how I need to focus in school but I've literally been getting A's and B's in my other subject. If Mrs Mendes  hadn't been complaining about her pregnancy I wouldn't have failed that much. I start to walk to room B6 that where my chemistry class when suddenly Maggie pops out of no where. Maggie has been my best friend since 2 grade. She's honestly my sister. She knows everything about me. We tell each other everything.

"I hear the new teacher is hot and married to Mrs Mendes," Maggie informs me as if I didn't know already.

"Yep, all the girls are crazy about him already, I can already imagine how the years gonna go, the girls are gonna die at everything he's gonna say." I said back, she laughed as we  reached the chemistry room. There was a massive line of girls lined up to go in class. There were 15 girls in the class including me and Maggie and 5 boys. 

"Daaaayuum this is gotta be the first time since all the girls have been on time," I joked. The girls all looked me as I said that. Fuck shouldn't have said that. They gave me death stares and honestly I felt like that they were gonna kill me. But before they could say anything the bell rang and they  opened the door and all the girls turned around and smiled and started to talk over each other. One by one the everyone walked in. I was the last one to go in. The teacher wasn't to be seen in the class room. All the girls sat on one table whereas me and Maggie sat on the table with the boys: Bruce, Todd, Zane , Justin and Alex. They're all popular and close to me. All the girls would ask me if I could set them up with them but the boys always rejected them.  I was mostly close to Alex and Todd. Bruce, Zane and Justin were close to Maggie the most. We were all talking to me when suddenly stopped when a tall man walked into the room.

"S..Sorry guys I'm late, I couldn't find my way, I'm Mr Mendes." He awkwardly says and he writes his name on the board. He examined the whole class. I could tell that he was nervous. The girls were whispering over each other whilst me and Maggie gave each other the look 'he's ugly' look that we give to each other when an ugly boy tries to hit on either of us. 

"So as this is our first lesson together I wanna know stuff about you guys  like what you like and that and you guys can ask me anything you want." Mr Mendes says. 

"I'm Sara, I like baseball, she says an she plays with her hair "What do you like sir.."

"I like baseball too," He says back. She sits down and starts to fan her face with her hands. 

"I'm Daisy, I like boys" she says as the whole class laughs at her "How old are you sir and are you actually married to Mrs Mendes?" Daisy is the class clown. Me and her were really close but we fell out because she didn't want me and Sam (her current boyfriend) to date.

"I'm 23 and yes I'm married to Mrs Mendes," He laughs. 

"Daaayuuuum sir, you're young and your married daaamn. Like what the fuck." I by accidentally say realizing I swore. " Omigod, sorry I didn't mean to swear." 

"It's okay."He says. "Me and Mrs Mendes started  dating when we were 14. When we first met there was a connection between us, it felt right. I love her more and more everyday" The girls "awwed" at him. One by one everyone introduced apart from me and Alex we didnt want to say anything.  

"Gosh girls make me sick," Bruce joke. I raise my eyebrow at him and wink cause I know Bruce  is gay. Mr Mendes handed out our study book very very very awkwardly. 

"Please read page 8 to page 14." He instructs us. I started to read when a note was passed to me. I slowly opened  it. Therer were messages on it like "Hes so fit," with initials and names next to all the stuff that the people wrote. There was a question written, 'Who else thinks he's fit?' by Sara. I get my red marker and in big letters I wrote NO with my name. I hear a cough  and look up and see Mr Mendes with his hands out, indicating that he wants the paper. 

'Shit I'm done' I think to my self. I instantly hand him the paper without thinking. I could feel my face turning bright red. He stares at the paper for 5 seconds and look right back at me.

"Please stay behind Miss Green." He said. Great just great, the first day of term and I already get a detention. After 5 minutes the bell rang and everyone left. I walk up to the Mr Mendes's desk. Theres an awkward silence abetween us and then he hands me the paper. 

" Your probably the first girl who doesn't think I'm hot" He jokely said. I started to laugh in  a confused way. 

"Oh PLease don't think that this is a detention, I just want to say I checked everyones grade and I noticed that you'r failing, do you struggle in chemistry the most.?" He asked. 

"No I actually enjoy it, it's just Mrs Mendes never taught us properly. She would just complain about her pregnancy" i said.

"I'm sorry for that I'll try to make the lessons fun and if you need help just ask me." He nicely said. 

"Thanks, I need to go or else I'm gonna be late for my music." I say.

"Oh yes sorry" He said as he wrote a note. "Just in case your later here's  a note." 

"Thank you," I said as I walked out. I opened and saw 5 girls in my class waiting. 

"What did he say about the note," Sara said eagerly. 

"Nothing, he was just asking me why I struggle so much in chemistry." I informed her. She moaned in disappointment. 

"You guys actually need to stop. We're only 17, nothing can happen between you and Mendes. Didn't you hear what he said? He really loves Mrs Mendes a lot."I said in a pissed off tone and walked off not wanting to turn around. 

The rest of the day went slowly and I just wanted to go home. I was walking home when I noticed a new man walking in to Number 5. I've never seen him before here. I walked in to my house and walked into the kitchen to my dad, who was extremely pissed at something.
