Again sorry if it's short and happy one day late thanksgiving. I'll make it up to y'all later I stood in the dressing room at the studio, staring at my outfit in the mirror. I wore a medium sized black long sleeved shirt that said Purdy girl on the front in a white cursive, black leather pants with silver stars on the back of my thighs that laced up in the back under the stars, black heeled combat boots with a silver buckle, black lipstick, Ashley's chain necklace, and a rebel choker. My hair had been flipped over to the left side. I didn't feel like putting on make up or extra rings, I was to lazy to do that. A knock on the door broke my thoughts. I opened it to find one of the stage workers "It's time" He said. I nodded and took a deep breath in before I followed him, shutting the door behind me. We walked through the crowded back stage area all the way to the stage, people giving me looks as I passed by. In all honesty it was starting to annoy me. Finally we reached the side of the stage where I was told to wait. Ellen wore her typical clothes which was a t shirt, white tux top and white pants. She was smiling as the crowd whistled and cheered. "Alright... Our next guests that we have is probably my most favorites right now. She's just absolutely amazing, she's hard working, talented, and just an amazing person. I don't think you can get anymore real then here. Ladies and gentlemen please help me welcome Anubis Purdy to the stage" Ellen said cheerfully. People erupted into claps and cheers and I couldn't help but smile as I was ushered onto the stage. I smiled as I walked out, waving as I did, towards Ellen "Thank you so much for having me here" I said happily "I've always been a fan ever since I vas a little girl" "Look at that she's a fan" Ellen said happily as she hugged me. I laughed and hugged back before she led me to the low red couch to sit on as she sat across from me in a small red chair. "Well Anubis it's great to have you here. You're unbelievably hard to get a hold of" "Vith all the touring and bar and Orphanage, vhich actually opened yesterday, it's all been a really busy month" I replied "I can tell. You also ended up getting married before all of this and now you're pregnant" Ellen said. I chuckled. "Yea. And if I verent I'd be on tour right now" "Good god child, do you ever know how to relax? " She asked jokingly. I grinned "Relaxing, vhat is this vord you speak of" I said back. Ellen just laughed along with the audience. "That's a good one. I can only imagine what you're like on tour" "I've been called Mother Satan a few times, that or dictator among many other things. Just depends on the guys mood" "That's interesting because I was just about to ask with you being the only girl in Black Veil Brides how is the environment around you since you're surrounded by guys? " Ellen asked as she sat up in her chair "Most people vould think that it's like having slobs and having to be the mature one all the time or hearing some gross immature behavior but it honestly, in my case, isn't. The guys treat me like family especially because ve are family and yes ve do have some immature moments but it's not all gross and everything. The guys do clean up after themselves, they don't always leave a mess in less ve're really tired after a show, and stuff like that. I guess it just depends on the type of guys that you're around" I answered "That's true too. So what got you and your husband to start Holy Sin? The music and lyrics and everything is just incredible" Ellen said. "Vell actually it sort of started back in high school vhen ve vere dating. It vas towards the end of the year vhen Ashley and I vanted to make songs for us. He called them our special songs and eventually vhen ve started tour ve decided that ve vanted the songs, and music ve made, to be shared vith the vorld. Those songs, the notes, the lyrics... It's our connection it's special" "That's just beautiful. So I hear you guys have a new album coming out in a few months. Troubled times I think it's called. What's it about? " Ellen asked "Vell all of our songs, our albums, ve try to touch on every subject aw much as ve can: life, love, happiness, loneliness and so on. I think this album is based more on love and continuing on through all the pain that comes vith love and even vhen that person had hurt you, you can get up and deal vith it because your heart yearns for them. This album I have to say vill definitely have a large impact on me because I didn't have love growing up and I had to struggle through everything going on. But it, and in my own opinion, this vill also bring people together. Most people seem to forget that ve are all related in one vay or another ve're all human ve all go through the same emotions, the same problems and issues, the same mindset at most times, and above all ve all look for and vant the same thing: too love and be loved in return " I answered. Ellen just cleared her throat "Wow that got deep for a second" Ellen said sitting on the edge of her seat as I laughed "are you sure you aren't a philosopher or something? Because you could be one" "Vell I know for a fact I'm a rock star, it brings me joy" I said laughing a bit " I vouldnt consider myself a philosopher I just speak of how things should go and past experiences " "Could you be my therapist? " Ellen asked chuckling "Vhy not, you've got my number. Anyone vho feels down or sad or just needs to vent you can contact me. I don't know vhen I'll answer though" I said "You're definitely different from the other stars out there, I don't think anyone of them would just give out there numbers like that, especially after your kidnapping and when your mom had you... " "Yes but at the same time not everyone is like that. I've been very good at judging people and figuring out if they're good people. People aren't necessarily evil they do things for a reason, reasons ve may never know or understand. Even bad people can be good people sometimes you have to give them a chance. I'm an open person and until you give me a reason to dislike you I vill look at you as equal and treat you vith respect once it's gone it's gone " I replied before I felt a kick. "Oh" I said chuckling "What? " "The babies kicked. They always kick vhen I'm upset and it's cute, it's like they don't vant me to be sad" I said smiling "May I? " Ellen asked. "Go ahead" I said. Ellen reached over and set her hand on my stomach. It was only a matter of seconds before she looked up at me "They kick really hard, is it a boy or girl? " She asked "Both" "Twins? " "Yup. Little Astrid and Dean" I said "That's great. I can tell you and Ashley are going to be great parents" Ellen said as she sat back "Vell ve're going to try and be great parents" I said "ve vont know until it happens but I'll get plenty of experience vith juniper and her baby at the house" I said "That's going to be tons of fun" Ellen said as she looked at me "now let's talk about fashion, how is it that you look good in everything? " "Vell I vouldnt say everything but thanks, some days I just don't care and throw something easy on" I said chuckling "What's the Purdy girl stuff? Like this whole look" Ellen said as she gestured to my outfit. "Vell its off Ashley's fashion line, all of this is from him, vell shirt and pants anyways, and its extremely comfortable" I said "Ashley has his own line? " "Yup" "How did I not know this? "She asked. I chuckled " What's it called? " "Ashley Purdy Inc" "I'm going to have to check that out. You look great and let's look at some pictures that you also look great in despite you saying you don't" Ellen said grinning wickedly. "Nooo you didn't" I said as I looked at her "you didn't stalk my social media accounts did you? " "Oh but i did, that's all part of the fun" Ellen said wickedly. I groaned and tried to bury my face in my shirt as she kept showing old pictures of me and the girls, guys, and Ashley and my wedding photos which some how got online. I was going to have to talk to Aries about that. "Stoppppp itttttt" I whined as she stopped on a picture from the Alt press awards when I had worn ripped jeans and a leather corset. "Why? I mean what makes you feel sexy and confident? " "Hmmm... Oversized hoodies or shirts, thigh high socks, body chains and I also vant to say vhen I have my hair up in a messy bun or vhen I have it like it is right now then again I don't do it much unless Ashley's around, he actually is my confidence booster ik not quite confident vhen he isn't there it's always been that vay, I can't really explain it" I answered. Ellen and I were both in tears trying to catch our breaths as best as we could "That... That was hilarious " Ellen said as she caught her breath "If you thought that vas funny you should see my friend juniper, she's hilarious" I said as I wiped my cheeks "Oh god. So who are some of your idols? "Ellen asked " Ohh I don't know that's a hard one, I did have a lot of people vho I looked up to, everyone shapes everyone else one vay or another, but I vould have to say that all the bands I listened to growing up. Aerosmith, Metallica, Nickelback, Slipknot and so on. They really helped me get through my rough times and if I ever met them I'd probably faint from shock they've had a huge, huge impact on my life" I said. "Now I don't know if this true but there is this thing where Kanye West said rap is the new rock, we the rock stars and I'm the biggest one of them all" Ellen said. I couldn't help but laugh "That's very funny" I said as I wiped the tears off my cheek "rap vill never be rock, their is a fine line between rap music and rock music. I get rap music makes you feel alive and up beat, but very few rap songs are good they talk about sex, drugs, women, guns and other stuff that virtually have no meaning. I'm not saying all rap and rappers are bad, Eminem is a good person and he has meaningful things to rap about not like Kanye and the others. Now Rock can be the same vay depending on the bands and the genres they chose to categorize themselves but I have met more rock bands, rock stars, and heard more rock music that cuts deep into your feelings, that touch on family or growing up bad to become something great to stand up to bullying and you don't see a or of that in rap maybe very little. So the only vay that Kanye vould be a rock star is if he performed rock music. "And rock music is a lot harder than it looks, you have to have skill to survive. Rock music can bring people together, I've seen it I experience it everyday vhen I see fan bases out there even if they aren't a fan of my music. Rap cab and never ever vill be rock and if some hundred years from now it does then god save us all, ve did something vrong. And just because you dress like a Rock star or punk rock vith all the leather, spikes, chokers, and all that sort of stuff doesn't always make you a rock star either " "Well I don't think I've ever seen someone so passionate about their music before" Ellen said " It's very refreshing " "Theirs a lot of us out there, but people tend to skip over them for a lot of reasons" We talked on and on about everything, goofing off when we could. I was having the time of my life and I could tell Ellen was too, I don't think she wanted it to end. "Well Anubis it was a great pleasure having you here today, I certainly had fun. Man I hate saying goodbyes" Ellen said as she reached over and shook my hand "I did too, and if you ever just vant to come over and hang out you're more then velcome too" I said smiling as I shook her hand. "I'll definitely take up that offer, see you next time. You have a great rest of your day and be safe" She said as we both got up. Giving me one more hug I left back towards the side of the stage and walked over to the dressing room to get my stuff. I worked my way through the busy stage workers who scrambled around and taking another person to the stage. I didn't know who it was but they gave me a nasty glare. Rolling my eyes I stepped back into the small room filled with clothes, mirrors, and make up grabbing my stuff and making my way to the parking lot. I unlocked the car and got in just as my phone rang. "Hello? " "Anubis I need you to get to the hospital as fast as you can" I heard izekil say panicked. "Hey just calm down and slowly tell me vhat happened, vhy am I going to the hospital? " I asked confused. "It's opal, I got home and she was really badly hurt. She keeps asking for you, something about a guy... " Izekil said. I instantly froze. It couldn't have been Samson, could it? Pregnant or not I was going to kick his ass for hurting my friends. "Anubis... Hello Anubis are you still there? " I heard Izekil ask. I shook my head "Yea sorry I vasn't paying attention... Vhat hospital? " I asked, a edge to my voice as I hoped into the car "The hospital close to your house" Izekil said "It'll take me a vhile and breaking a few traffic laws but I'll be there" I said before hanging up. I started the car and pulled out into the high way and I kept up to my promise, I was pretty sure I broke a few traffic rules but I hauled ass to the Hospital. About four or so hours later i finally arrived and pulled into the hospital parking lot before I walked inside and found a worried looking Izekil. After trying to get her to calm down she took me to opal's room. Opal laid on the bed asleep, passed out as cuts and bruises lingered her body, her arm in a cast. "Do you think that she'll be alright? " Izekil asked. "I think that she vill" I answered as I looked at opal, regret and guilt filling me. I should have known something was going to happen, I should have warned her. Something and something was better then nothing "I'm going to find this guy and beat the living hell out of him myself" Izekil growled. I looked at him " That's not a good idea, for now... Let's just let the police take control for now " I said
