Third Person's POV

"Mama! I'm home!" The six years old jiwon beamed happily as she ran to the kitchen but she didn't see her mom "Where is she?" She whispered to herself and then walked upstairs to her mom's room

She saw the door of her mom's room was open a little so she slowly tiptoed and peeked

'Mama?' She mentally said

The room was dark and her mom was sitting infront of her mirror facing her back from the door. Her mom was bending a little and she heard some sniffing

The only light was from the door, to why jiwon can see and it was reflecting to the mirror

"Mom?" She finally spoke and opened the door

"O-oh jiwon!" She stood up immediately as she wipes her nose and walked towards her

Jiwon looked behind her mom and she found some dusts on her table

Her mom gently pushed her outside her room and closed the door

"You're home already!" Her mom said masking it with a fake happy expression and kissed her cheek "Are you hungry?" Jiwon nodded and her mom immediately walked downstairs while she was still standing there dumbfounded

'What was that..' Jiwon thought

Jiwon's POV

I woke up and looked at my surroundings

I sighed heavily and covered my eyes with my arms

The scene was still so clear to me

That day, my mom was using 'drugs', and I was still innocent at that time so I didn't have any idea what was that

And since that day, my mom is not in the kitchen like every other day, cooking dinner for the two of us. She now spends most of her time in her room doing the same thing. And since that day I just peek at her for a second and not disturb her then go to my room

And then one day..

Third Person's POV

One day, Jiwon came back from school and like everyday, she doesn't beam happily like before

She tiptoed to her mom's room and she was hearing moans

Like everyday, the door was open a little and peeked and her eyes got widen in horror seeing her mom sitting on top of an unknown man and bouncing up and down while moaning

'W-what..' She mentally thought thinking what was her mother doing

She slowly backed away and walked to her room trying not to make any noise. Then at that night, she couldn't sleep because from the scene that was stuck on her head

Then the next day, when she got home, she expected her mom to be in her room but instead, she's in the kitchen, but not alone

"Oh jiwon-ah!" Her mom walked to her and kissed her forehead

She didn't talk and she looked at the guy sitting in the chair

"Come and sit jiwon, eat dinner with us" Her mom smiled and she just nodded and sat silently, infront of the guy.

Then after cooking, they ate silently.

"Ah jiwon-ah" Her mom broke the silence

"Yes mama" Jiwon replied not looking at her

"This is Kim Gulsok, my boyfriend" Jiwon stopped moving and looked at her mom and to the guy and she just nodded and continued eating "Jiwon-ah, why are you unusually quiet these days?" Her mom asked

Jiwon sighed "I'm just tired" she lied

"Okay then. Oh and I'd like to inform you that, from this day on, Gulsok will be living here with us from now on" I stopped eating and immediately looked at her with tiring eyes and I just shook her head

'Even if I'd try to stop it, she won't listen to me, so what's the point anyway. I'll just have stay out of their way and everything's going to be okay' Jiwon thought. She sighed then continued eating

For a six years old, she already knows how to worry and think like an adult can do.

Jiwon's POV

And since that day, my life got much worser since the day that I was born
