this story is kind of interesting, and has a small backstory.
you can skip over this part if you'd like, but i'm going to explain the story just a bit.
i drew inspiration for this from a story i read a while ago called "strings". both stories are based off a chinese legend called "red thread of fate". in this legend, two people are connected by a red thread, and are destined lovers. the thread may stretch or tangle, but never break. however, in my story, everyone has this thread or string connecting their heart with someone else's. also, the protagonist will have the ability to see all of these strings. needless to say, things can get crazy.
