—————————Real Life—————————

Realizing how this was the last 20 minutes that I get until I'm Mrs. Avery Grey-Gustin. I agreed to hyphenate my last name, because I still wanted to have some of the Grey legacy in my music. My bridesmaids, Natalie and Janie, were all gathered around the door waiting to walk in. I began to fiddle around with my thumbs, because I was so nervous. What if I have a heart attack? What if I break my leg? What if I die?
The music began to play. I can hear it from the hallway. My father walked up to me, and smile. "Hey, Aves," he greeted.
      "Hi, dad," I smiled.
"Are you ready?" He questioned me.
"Yeah," I took a deep breath. After all three bridesmaids went in slowly, my father looked at me.
"It's time." He stated. I heard the pianist playing the tune, and then everybody rose from there seats. I saw my brothers, the flash cast, a few of my old band members, Grant's Family, my cousins, etc. They all were smiling. Then I saw Grant with his meerkat smile in his tux with his hair gelled. I saw the priest, and I saw Grant's best men, Kyle and Tyler. By the time I got to the alter, I reached out for Grant's left hand as my father nodded and released me from his grip.
"Avery Makenna Grey and Thomas Grant Gustin, today you are surrounded by your friends and family, all of whom have gathered here to witness your marriage and to share in the joy of this special occasion. Today, as you join yourselves in marriage, there is a vast and unknown future stretching out before you. The possibilities and potentials of your married life are great; and now falls upon your shoulders, the task of choosing your values and making real your dreams. Through your commitment to each other, may you grow and nurture a love that makes both of you better people. A love that continues to give you great joy, and also a passion for living that provides you with energy and patience to face the responsibilities of life." The priest began to preach. "Ultimately there comes a moment when a decision must be made. Two people who love each other must ask themselves how much they hope for as their love grows and deepens, and how much risk they are willing to take. Commitment may well be a fearful gamble. Because it is the nature of love to create, a marriage itself is something which has to be created, the natural consequence of a love so strong, such that as we come together in marriage, we become a new creature - the two becoming one within." The priest left a gap from his words. "Avery  and Thomas, today you choose each other before your family and friends, to begin your life together. For all the tomorrows that..."
At that point in the priest's speech, I blinked. "Um, I'm sorry to interrupt you, but..." I paused and ran down from the alter through the aisle, and out the main doors. I stood outside in the hall for a few moments. Suddenly, I heard the doors slam open. It was Grant. "I'm sorry," I apologized as I wiped the tears off of my cheek. "I panicked."
"Avery, what did I do wrong?" He asked.
"Nothing, it's just, I have never been this committed to anyone in my entire life, and I don't want our friendship to disappear, because all we are now is husband and wife." I sniffled.
"Listen to me, even when we get married you will still be my best friend and I will still be yours!" He persuaded.
"This is why I love you." I sniffles with a grin.
"How about we get back in there and get married?" He suggested.
"Lets do it." I chuckled. He helped me up, and we both ran back into the chapel. Everybody looked at us oddly. "Hey! I'm back! I'm not going anywhere anytime during the ceremony, so let's continue with this wedding!" I announced as we reached the alter. Everybody clapped their hands.
"Alright, where was I..." the priest was trying to remember. "Oh, right! For all the tomorrows that follow, you will choose each other over and again, in the privacy of your hearts. Let your love and friendship guide you, as you learn and grow together. Experience the wonders of the world, even as patience and wisdom calm the restless nature. Through your new partnership, may you triumph over the challenges in your path. Through the comfort of loving arms, may you always find a safe place to call home." He continued. "Now onto the vows. Thomas is there anything you'd like to say Avery?" The priest turned to Grant.
"Avery, I've known you my entire life. We were best friends since we were young, and now here we are. Playing Barry Allen has shown me that the love of my life was standing right in front of me. I've been in love with you since I don't know how long, and realizing that is something in common that I have with my character. Barry has been in love with Iris since he even knew what love is, and now I realized how you are my Iris. Barry without Iris is like cookies without the milk. I fell in love with my best friend and without you in my life, I don't know what I would do. I love you and promise to be there for you for the rest of your life." Grant said with a loud voice.
"Avery, is there anything you would like to say to Thomas?" The priest looked at me.
"Okay, so I'm not going to run this time. Anyways, there's this quote I wrote down the other day for a song, 'Every girl needs a guy best friend to help her laugh when she thinks she'll never smile again.' Over the years, you have been there for me every step of the way to help me achieve where I am at today. I've helped you with your acting career, and we have always stuck to each other's side like hot glue to cardboard. Whenever I felt like my silly dream was childish and I should just move on from it, you made me keep trying. Every time a guy broke my heart, you were there to fix the broken pieces. Over the course of time, I fell for you. Thomas Grant Gustin, I love you with all my heart, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you." I ended.
"Alright, now that you have said your vows, "Do you Thomas, take, Avery, to be your wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?" The priest asked Grant.
"I do." He stated with a big smile.
"Do you Avery take Thomas to be your husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do you part?" The priest turned to me.
"I do." I grinned.
"May we have the rings?" The priest asked Tyler, Grant's brother. He handed Grant and I the rings.
"Avery, please put the ring on Grant's finger, and repeat after me: I give you this ring, a symbol of my love, as I give to you, all that I am, and accept from you, all that you are." The priest stated.
I put the ring on his ring finger and said, "I give you this ring, a symbol of my love, as I give to you, all that I am, and accept from you, all that you are."
"Thomas, please place the ring on Avery's finger, and repeat after me: I give you this ring, a symbol of my love, as I give to you, all that I am, and accept from you, all that you are." The priest stated. Grant slid the ring on my finger.
"I give you this ring, a symbol of my love, as I give to you, all that I am, and accept from you, all that you are." Grant repeated.
"And now, by the power vested in me by the State of Virginia, I hereby pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride!" The priest announced. I leaned in, and kissed Grant before he can even lean in since he was taller than me. After a ten second kiss, we walked down the aisle as the pianist began to play the closing song. We got into a car as the driver began to drive us back to the place we were having the reception. Then, I received a picture from my mom through text messages.
