Hello dear readers I am again with an update after a long time ...actually I was too much busy due to my tests well they are not over yet but I got a long weekend so couldn't resist to update . Annie's POV I was continuously digging my fork into the slice of pizza in anger or maybe embarrassment. My face was emotionless , i was staring down at the plate like it is the most beautiful thing in the world and not even blinked once . I am wondering how he came here , did my comment effect him so much or is he trying to embarrass me .
Well the second option seems more realistic . I was fuming in anger when I caught a glimpse of Zaid sitting and chatting with Maha but his face was showing no emotions . Well this person is difficult to understand sometimes rude , sometimes jolly and now blank .Without giving him another glance , i again started munching my not so good pizza (you all must be aware that if you keep on digging fork into slice of pizza what would be its condition 😂) But I am a genius I can pretend eating till I didn't get caught. Zaid's POV I was sipping my coke when my attention diverted to Annie and Faariya's talk . I don't know she was referring to a crime that Annie committed "Your crime is that you stole someone's heart "Faariya said shyly while Annie started fake coughing and I unknowingly choked my drink grabbing everyone's attention . "What happened Bro ?"Maha asked innocently but her eyes were teasing me . "N.o.t.h...ing "I stammered "Bro you never got confuse in your entire lifetime looks like Annie is on your mind nowadays "she whispered in my ear "Shut up concentrate on your wedding "I tried shushing her "What about your's ?"she said giggling I ignored her the whole time , thankfully we came back home and directly went to my office due to an urgent work . Already I cancelled one of my meetings just to show this sleepy girl that I am not freaking bore .
Annie's POV We bid goodbyes to Adeel and Atif and returned home .Zaid directly went to his office , maybe he is afraid of my feisty side well he should be . Me and the Khan sisters (their nickname I use as a shortcut ) flopped on the sofa exhaustedly , I took a sigh of relief finally we are back to home . "Shopping is tiring "Maha said tired while I nodded my head in approval "No way shopping is my love and I can do it 24/7 "Faariyasaid chirpily while we both rolled our eyes at her craze for shopping . "You love shopping or the person who was at the shopping mall "Maha teased her while Faariya threw the pillow on her and soon they both were engulfed in the pillow fighting . I decided to go to granny for her therapy session , they all areso sweet and time passes so rapidly with them . I entered her room and found granny sitting on her armchair looking s bit upset . I greeted her with enthusiasm but no response "Granny What happened ?"I asked concerned "Nothing how was your shopping "she diverted the topic "First you have to reply me "i said stubbornly "Its Zaid's birthday today "she said sadly "So you should be happy rather than sad "i said shocked "He never celebrates it " "OMG that rude jerk doesn't even celebrates it well what else could be expected from him "I said angrily while granny chuckled "He was not always like that some circumstances made him so " "What was he before?"I asked curiously "He was naughty , fun loving and caring but ...she soon stopped when she realised she was opening too much in front of me , I squeezed her hand gently assuring her that I am with her . "Its okay take your time "i said smiling "I think i have an idea "i said on which her face lit up
"We will arrange a surprise birthday party for him " "Will you ?"she asked hoping a yes from me and i gave her a nod in return .
I went straight to Faariya and Maha and told them my plan , they willingly agreed but not without teasing me ...ufff this sisters are so shrewd they always tease you which sometimes annoys you .Soon all the house was decorated , we all were happy because Mrs Khan was not at home so no strictness .We three gathered in the kitchen to make chocolate cake .
while making the chocolate cake , i was continuously eating chocolate cream from the cake on which I got scolded by the sisters .
