"I believe everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they are right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together."

Ally walked into the crowded room reeling with the smell of alcohol and sweat. God, she hated that smell. You could see it on her face as she pushed through sweaty bodies trying to find the V.I.P lounge where hopefully, she could find her best friend.
She tried calling out her name but it was no use because of the blaring techno music that felt like it was blasting right next to her ear. After finding the red glowing sign that said 'Private', she walked inside before security could get to her first.
There she was, her best friend, Lauren Jauregui. She was taking countless shots with two brunettes by her side cheering her on. It wasn't new to Ally to see her like this.
It just tears Ally apart to see the young pop star like this. No one could see the pain she could see in Lauren like she did. It's like Ally could see right through her, which is why Lauren has distanced herself from the older girl for some time now.
Finally finding the courage to speak up, Ally did. "Lauren. What are you doing?"
The green eyed girl looked up from the shot she was about to take to brown eyes. Her face fell but immediately changed to a soft slurpy smile.
"Ally! Hey, you drinking?"
Ally shook her head, "No Laur, but as of the looks of it, you should go back to the hotel. Haven't you had enough?"
Lauren did look like she had enough. With the messy hair, smudge lipstick and the darkness under her eyes due to her mascara.
Keana and Vero, the two girls next to Lauren who have been friends with the dark haired girl since they were babies, looked like they had enough too.
"Oh c'mon Ally, don't be a party pooper. Let loose for once."
Lauren picked herself up from the sofa and walked towards Ally with a red shot in her hands. Keana and Vero giggled to themselves.
Lauren shoved the drink at her face, begging her with her eyes to drink. "No. Lauren stop."
"Come on." Lauren shoved it close to her mouth and that's when Ally took charged and moved it away from her mouth which caused it to spill on Lauren.
"You need help, Laur." She sneered before walking away. Ally stormed out of the club, passing sweaty bodies till she was outside, feeling the cold air hit her face causing her to get a chill.
Biting her lip angrily, she reached into her pocket
feeling the familiar device. She dialed Normani.

"What is question number 34?"
Camila rolled her eyes, "Ugh, you have to choose the hardest ones first?" She groaned into the chair she was sitting in, slamming her SAT textbook shut.
