Prologue

Anonymous's POV

"I've never seen her before" I said, taking another sip of the punch. It was obvious by the sizzling in my throat that someone spiked the drink. I watched as she sat on the opposite side of the room, her hands crossed, a scowl marring her features.

"That's because she hides behind books" Alvin replied, downing his his cup of punch. This party was a bummer. The famous 'Hadley's' held a party this year for their daughter's 17th. Honestly, people only showed up to ogle the extremely hot Tracy Hadley, the birthday girl.

"Okay, so who is she?" I asked, watching her discreetly. I'm not sure what it was, but something made her stand out, look unique. Maybe it was the cute pout or the sweatshirt at a party, but something about her made me smile.

"She's Tracy's step-sister, I think she's gonna start school at the end of Summer" Alvin said. He stopped to whisper something in his girlfriends ear, who was seated beside him. She giggled and walked off. "Obviously she was forced to be here by her parents"

"Oh" Was all I replied. The girl's arms were indignantly crossed across her chest as tapped her foot, seeming desperate for this party to be over. Every few seconds, she would huff a strand of stray hair away from her face, check the time, before going back to the glare.

It was amusing me to watch all the types of glares she put on.

I watched as a very drunk guy dawdled up to her. I instinctively got on guard, just in case I had to be the hero an save her from the hands of this guy. He bent down and whispered something in her ear. The girl's cheeks flushed, both from embarrassment and enragement, before she pushed him back with enough force to tip him over. I chuckled in amusement.

"Mrs Hadley should know better that to trust a bunch of teenagers to have a non-alcoholic party while they're out for the night" I sighed, looking back at Alvin. I grimaced when I saw him glued to his girlfriend's face, and turned back to the spot to see that the girl was no longer sitting there.

(COMING A LOT LATER... SOON I GUESS, MAYBE A MONTH OR TWO LATER IDK, UNLESS I GET IMPATIENT. I HAVE TO FINISH HABB FIRST )
