Mia and Rachel were hanging out at the backyard of the Lincoln Hall. Zia was nowhere to be seen but then she always managed to get herself into trouble even in the most unlikely of places.

“I don’t even want to call her. I can already hear her ‘I told you so’.” Mia said looking around the big field full of final year students. Mia and Rachel were the only fifteen-year-old there. Mia was the youngest girl to get selected for the youth parliament so it shouldn’t have come as a surprise.

Rachel was smiling at Mia when she stiffened all of a sudden. "I think the future alpha of Yoda Pack is checking you out. Don't look back," Rachel whispered.

Mia stood still trying not to make any sudden movement. She could almost feel his gaze pierce through her.

"My god Mia, he's coming right over," Rachael said, all panicked.

"Hi," she could recognise his voice anywhere in the world. In person, it sounded even deeper. Sexier.

Mia turned to him. She tried to form the world hi but no sound came out of her mouth. She cleared her throat and tried again. "Hi," this time it was much better.

"I..." he chucked almost blushing. Mia bit her lip, it was the sexiest thing ever. "I am Jordan. I guess you probably know that already. I made some really cool arguments, I was impressed."

"And still you won." Mia bit her tongue in regret. It sounded less bitchy in her head. "I am just kidding. You were great," she added immediately.

"That's fine. Maybe, the jury was biased," Jordan winked making the both of them chuckle. Yeah, he heard the rumours too.

They both shifted from toe to toe, standing before each other awkwardly. Jordan had done this plenty of time and by the way, the girl before him was blushing he knew he had totally got this. He was at top of his game yet this was different. This girl was different. He had his suspicions but he couldn’t draw a conclusion until he had spent some time with her.

"I don't know how to ask you this but would you like to have coffee with me?" He said scratching the back of his head.

Well in a normal circumstance Mia would have denied right away. They were strictly not allowed to date boys from different clan but it was Jordan they were talking about. No one could deny him.

"Yeah...umm,” Mia blushed. “I would love that."

They walked to a nearby coffee shop, she asked Rachel to keep an eye on Zia.

They both walked into the restaurant, all the eyes were turned to Jordan. Mia wasn’t all that unaffected, she could not take her eyes off of him as well. Unlike her sister, Mia had her fair share of experience with boys. Jordan wasn’t any boy had dated ever.

"If you keep staring at me like that I might have to ask you for your number," Jordan said smirking. His eyes peering down on her. The innocence gone replaced by the confident boy she had seen on the stage.

How on earth did she get so lucky?

"Then I shouldn’t stop staring."

Zia got into a fight. The pissy boy was trying to mouth her off. Her father’s Pack, the Rikti wasn’t the most liked pack in werewolf community. Their ways were crude, their Alpha was a shit head. Zia agreed strongly but that did not mean she would hear anything negative about her people. Her pack members were her family and she could not stand anyone talk foul of them. When the boy used degrading words for the woman of her Pack, she lost it.

She was ready to change into her wolf and rip his head off when Rachel came running to her.

“What the fuck are you doing?” Rachel held her by the waist and pulled her away. The boy and his friends laughed making her angrier.

“Let me go, Rachel. The guy is going to get the shit beaten out of him today.” Zia tried to free herself but Rachel pulled her away warning her about their Alpha. He would make sure to ground Zia if he found out about her bravado.

“We need to leave,” Rachel panted looking at the boys who weren’t all done with Zia. It wouldn’t be the first time when Zia had put herself in danger outside their territory.

Rachael called Mia so they could leave as soon as possible.

Mia was completely smitten by Jordan. He knew how to make a girl feel special. Her phone rang showing the caller Id of Rachel. "I gotta take this call," Mia excused herself.

"Why are you calling me?" Mia angrily whispered in the speaker holding in near her mouth.

"Zia got into trouble. You need to come right now." Rachael shouted on the phone. Mia head immediately went to George, he was a magnet to such things. If he found out about Zia or Mia. God, if he found out she was out with Yoda pack’s future alpha he would kill her.

"Calm down. I'll be right there," Mia disconnected the phone cursing inwardly. She didn’t want the day to end so soon.

She came back to the table. "I need to get going. My friend is waiting for me."

"I understand. Can I have that number that you promised?" Jordan handling his phone to her.

"Yeah," Mia smiled. They exchanged numbers and said their goodbyes.

Jordan leaned forward to hug Mia but it was a mistake. He could literally feel a jolt of electricity all through his body. He had his suspicions but he was certain now. His wolf yelped at the contact.

Mia had no idea what was going on. Jordan wasn’t letting her go. Although she was loving the sensation of him on her body she was getting late. If Zia hurt herself, or George somehow found out about this meeting she will be doomed.

They moved away slowly staring at each other longingly before departing.
