serenity's pov

the game was going great, instead of adym yelling in my ear every second.we got a touchdown in the first kickoff. i was talking to ny and a guy came up to her.
guy: my friend thinks your cute and he wants to talk to you
ny: can i see him?
guy: he's over there
she shrugged, he wasn't the best looking, but he was still cute:

he ran over and we went back to our topic that we were talking about. 5 minutes later, he came over.

me: i'm just gonna let y'all talk. imma be anti-social and cuddle up with my blanket and adym
they both laughed and went back to talking. adym's friend stayed with us since he had nobody with him, so i just ate the fries while scrolling through instagram and snapchat.

adym's friend: shit, i didn't get your name
me: serenity. i said with my eyes glued on my phone
adym's friend: i'm vincent
i looked up quickly.
me: v-v-vincent?
vincent: omg.... serenity? i knew that name sounded familiar
i got up quickly.

me: leave now

flashback; after school

vincent kissed me.

we went his car and went to his house. he was on his phone, texting.

i tasted something salty in my mouth. then i saw blood on my shirt. i started hallucinating all the voice around me started to get faded.
vincent: baby wake up please
doctor: sir pleased get back
vincent: no baby, get off of me, shes the love of my life!
doctor: please sir.... everything else was faded.

then, i passed out.

i sat back down in adym's lap and cried in his arms.
adym: i think you should leave
vincent: but-. it sounded like he was about to cry.
adym: VINCENT you should leave
vincent: okay
he left and i kept crying in his arms.
adym: ny, watch our stuff, im gonna go somewhere private
ny: aight
we both got up and went to the back of the bleachers while he still had me in his arms.
adym: just tell me what happened
i tried hard to say it without sounding like i was crying.
me: i dated him sophomore year and he wasn't paying attention to the road and he flipped me off. next thing i know, im in a hospital bed
adym: damn
he held me tighter and kissed my forehead. my crying slowly stopped and he realized. i looked up at him and gave him a faint smile.

adym: you okay now
i nodded as he wiped a tear away.
adym: do you want to go back up there?
i shook my head. he found a bench and we both sat there. i enfolded my arms around his waist and listened to his heartbeat. it was so calming that i went to sleep. he woke me up when it was halftime.
adym: baby, do you want to go back?
me: sure
we got up and walked back and sat down. i checked my makeup and it wasn't messed up. waterproof mascara comes in handy. i went back on my phone, but it was at 10%.
me: do you have a charger?
adym: i do, but not a portable charger
me: damn, how about you best friend
ny: nah, not with me
me: adym can i use your phone?
adym: sure

he gave me his phone and i went on his instagram. i saw all these pages with him and the username "last_". i ignored it and went onto his snapchat and took a video of me and him kissing and playing around. i captioned it: "add me: @/hoijr" (fr, add me @/angietaj894) after 3 minutes he got a flood of notifications from random people. i opened it and they all said "who's this hoe" or "who's this ricco, explain" ricco? who's ricco? i ignored it and went on my instagram.
jabri: aye, you asked for a portable charger?
me: YOU HAVE ONE?
jabri: yea, it's barely charged tho
me: fine enough
i took it from him and when i put the cord in, i moaned being funny. adym looked over and smirked.
adym: watch me do that to you tonight
me: you wish
adym: but last night you were like "FUCK ME DA-"
me: ADYM!

other people looked back. i covered his mouth while he laughed. my cheeks got hot from embarrassment as ny and jabri were cuddled up, laughing.
me: but fr, that dick was GOOD let me tell you
all of them laughed harder until they were crying.
