Ever looked down and stared at your scars?

Wondering "How did get this far? "

Ever feel that burning in your chest? 

That it just makes you want to give up.

Yet you find another reason to hold on.

Everyone turns their head from you.

It seems your family does too.

Your legs shake, ready to give out.

Some how you will yourself to stand straight.

you pay no attention and continue on.

You hear the whispers,

but you don't turn and look.

You want to cry, you feel unsure.

But you don't let anyone see you cry.

You strayed from cutting.

You still feel the need but you don't.

let them wonder how you're still alive.

After all this is only temporary.
