Rainy day.

It was a cold and rainy summer afternoon and JaeHyun calmly sat and waited for a special someone by the window of the café. He looked your at the rainy sky, unaware of the resemblance it would have later on.

His thoughts started to drift away as he held onto his cup of warm coffee, opposed of him stood a lonely green tea latte, still steaming. He had memorized her favorite order, just like he had memorized all her favorite things.

His thought were interrupted when the person he was waiting for sat down at the awaited seat.

''Hi'' she said, her lips smiled but it didn't really reach her eyes, that was something JaeHyun quickly noticed.

''Hello, how are you, did you get here safely?'' he asked, worried that she would get a cold from the weather.

''Yeah, a little cold though, I will be fine'' She answered while pulling her soaked jacket of.

''I ordered your favorite coffee for you'' he sweetly said while looking down shyly.

''Oh, thank you'' she said with little emotion in her voice, also something JaeHyun took noticed of. She would usually thank him with a little kiss on the cheek or a big smile but now she seemed emotionless.

''Are you alright? did something happen?'' he asked worriedly, thad been a while since they last met, mainly because he was very busy with P101.

''I need to tell you something later, but not now in public'' she said and JaeHyun saw what looked like dread or regret in her eyes, he only nodded to her.

When they meet up, the dates are usually filled with laughter,talking and joking around but this time, none of them seemed willing to break the silence.

About 15 minutes later when both of their cups were empty, they begun to walk around town a little. She hadn't brought an umbrella with her but JaeHyun had so he held her close under so she would be shielded from the rain.

By now, the sky was dark and the rain was strong then before, at one point they stopped outside a convenient story to take shelter from the heavy rain.

''What's wrong?'' JaeHyun finally broke the silence, his voice caused her to look up from her shoes.

''What do you mean?'' she asked nervously.

''You seem sad about something, I can sense it and see it in your eyes'' he said while taking her cold hands in his warm ones, she knew that she would miss his touch .

As he did that she broke the eye contact and pulled her hands away from his and put them in her own lap.

''I've done something'' she muttered while looking down at her soaked shoes.

Her words made JaeHyun's heart beat slow down, he had read some articles but he trusted her enough to assume that the rumors were false.

''You are gonna hate me'' she muttered again, her gaze still on her shoes. JaeHyun sat patently in silence for her to continue.

''I-I meet up with someone else'' she stuttered and this made his heart stop fore a few moments.

''What do you mean 'meet someone' ''

''I am so sorry, I regret everything. I just was so lonely, and he was there and I don't know what happened'' she rambled on, her eyes finally met his. Her heart breaking even more as he see the hurt in his eyes.

''What did you do?'' he asked while trying to swallow his tears.

''I slept with someone else'' she quietly said after taking a deep breath. As she looked up to see his reaction, she caught him shedding a tear before hurriedly wiping his eyes.

After a short silence, JaeHyun muttered ''Didn't this relationship mean anything for you? This past 8 months!?'' his voice getting louder by the end on the sentence, but he wasn't screaming.

''I'm sorry, it was just that you were busy and I was lonely! It didn't mean anything!'' she exclaimed.

'' D-did you meet him more then once?'' this time it was him that stuttered.

''Please JaeHyun, listen to me, It didn't mean anything'' she said again and this time she tried to take his hand but he just moved away.

''Please.... answer the question'' the hurt in his voice made her feel even sadder.

''y-y-yes I did'' she emitted shamely.

''I trusted you'' he stated as he stood up from the bench.

''No JaeHyun wait, please let me explain'' she begged and tried once gain to take his hand and this time he just stopped and let her.

''Can I ask you something, did you ever love me like I loved you?''

And when he said 'loved' she finally broke out in tears.

''Yes JaeHyun! I loved you! I still do! Please don't leave me. It was all a mistake'' by now, her face was as wet as if she had stood out in the rain.

''Please let go of my hand'' he quietly asked as he looked away from her. She let go of his warm hand as she realized she had lost him.

''Here, take the umbrella. We don't want Joseph to worry if you fall sick'' he said in a heartbroken voice as he handed his umbrella to her.

When he heard his name, she knew that JaeHyun had read the numerous articles but still trusted her.

As she tried to say something more, he cut her off. ''I even defended you when the others accused you of cheating, I trusted you with my whole heart, I helped you when you were in trouble or feeling sad. I always came by to see you or bring food when you were busy. I crossed the whole country to be able to say happy birthday to you face to face. I did so much for you and you know what's surprising?''

''I don't regret anything, you may call me selfish but I did all of that to be able to make you smile, I did it because I wanted to make you happy, I guess I wasn't a good enough boyfriend to you'' as he said all that she just broke down even more. ''I didn't think it was possible for a teen to be this heart broken but you proved me wrong'' he said as he took a step away from her. His own tears started to fall down freely. This is the first time she has ever seen him this sad, he didn't even cry this much when the special big 3 project was cut.

''Please be happier now...'' he said as he turned his back to her.

''Bye Jeon Somi'' he lastly said before walking away in the rain.

When he disappeared into the dark she fell down on her knees and just cried, she screamed so loudly in pain that she couldn't even hear the heat rain anymore. She had done something that she would regret her whole life, she had just lost the one thing she held closest to her heart.

As she raised her head, her eyes fell on the umbrella he gave her that was still on the table.

''I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, JaeHyun'' Somi muttered as she looked the direction he had left in.
