Chapter 43 | Silver

Start from the beginning

"F*ck" his eyes met mine and he ran once again.

Not with me!

"Hey Luke, want to make out?" I asked casually, his eyes twinkled as he caught the hint.

"Yeah sure," he answered.

Zaire was long gone, so it was only Savannah who was slurping on her tea.

She always has tea.

I cringed at the booming growl from the stairs, maybe I overdid it with that...meh.

"Not again" I heard Savannah mumble "I never get to drink my tea in freedom with you" she huffed.

"I will leave," Luke said chuckling, he threw Savannah over his shoulder while she gave me a bored look, translated it means 'this isn't the first time, and I am not that old and fragile'. He hurried out the back door giving me the peace sign.

Now I ruined the breakfast for all of them..

What is it again, 11 am?

"Ahh" I felt firm hands engulfed my waist.

"What was that again Love?" A shiver ran down my spine as Jake and Aether's voices mixed into an animalistic deep growl.

My knees gave up in a heartbeat.

Damn, that was sexy.

"Did you.." his lips pressed on my ear, his voice a deep breathy whisper. My heart was ragged, going crazy by just his voice.

"No" I breathed in a haze.

"Good" he let me go, not good because my legs gave out and I fell.

What?

I guess he played you this time.

I looked at him to be met with a cheeky smirk "Good" he said again and was about to leave.

He thinks he won this but I won't give up.

I want to know what happened.

"What happened yesterday?...did I do something wrong?" My lips shivering and my face hidden by my hair.

Sorry, Jenn, I will have to borrow your trick this time.

"No..." he is going to break, I can feel it hehe.

"...Aargh! Fine! You want to know what happened?...you were drunk!"

Oh f*ck.

I f*cked up.

We can still mate..right?

I have been so careful! I ignored her.

Not so much if you were drunk.

"Was it bad?" I grimaced at the memory of the stories I heard from Luke.

"...you can't even imagine," he sighed. He extended his hand to me.

"Wait...the date...did I..?" I dared to ask as the thought struck my mind.

"Let's not talk about it...just stay away from alcohol," he chuckled darkly.

Uhh...it must have been....bad.

Remember when you got drunk in a club? I mean what Luke told us.

I shivered.

Yeah...I am banned from that city.

Do you think 500 years is enough for them to forget me?
