Plot: This takes place before Keith leaves the Garrison.

Lance couldn't help but whistle as he walked down the halls towards one of the empty sections of the school at the moment. He was meeting up with his secret boyfriend. He turned the corner and walked into the open space with a carpet, the roof was made of glass so he could see what was above him. Sitting down on the carpet he stared up at the starry sky above him as he waited for his boyfriend. He turned to look who had just come in behind him and saw Keith standing there, a tired smile plastered on his face. "Hey."

"Hey." Keith mumbled taking a seat next to Lance, the taller boy moved his arm motioning for Keith to lay his head down on his lap. The black haired boy rolled his eyes but did lay down, his head resting on Lance's legs. Lance smiled as he threaded his fingers through the others hair. " How was your day?" he asked looking down at Keith.

"Fine." he grumbled. He looked at him, eyebrow raised. " Sorry, it's just I'm a bit frustrated that's all." he explained, snuggling a bit more into Lance.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"Not really."

"Alright." he replied reluctantly. He's known that Keith has been on edge since they announced that the crew from the Kerberos mission was missing. He assumed it had something to do with the pilot of the mission, but Keith refused to say something. Just the other day Lance had walked by and saw Keith arguing with one of their Commanders and it looked like he was about ready to punch him luckily he had stepped in to stop him. Lance was beginning to worry about Keith, he wanted to check on him but he knew he couldn't since they were supposed to be rivals. He sighed as he smiled down at Keith.

They spent the next hour sitting there enjoying each others presence, talking happily, and avoiding the topic of the Kerberos mission. Suddenly Keith jumped up. "We have to go the guards will be coming by here on their rounds soon." Lance looked down at his watch, oh they were going to be pushing it. How had they been so careless? Keith grabbed Lance's hand and helped him up, not letting go he edged towards the wall and peered around the corner. "Clear." he whispered.

The dashed out of the room and down the halls hand in hand. Finally they reached the main hallway where they would have to split up and head back to their own dorms. Lance let out a little giggle. "That was close." he said with a smile.

"Yeah too close." Keith agreed. "Well we aren't out of the waters yet." He glanced down at their interlocked hands and gave Lance's a quick squeeze. The brown haired teen gave a cheeky smile before leaning in and giving a quick peck on his boyfriend's lips.

"See ya in class." he smirked.

Keith smiled back. "See ya." they both let go as they raced off towards their dorms. Once Lance reached his he gave the small knocking pattern he had rehearsed so much. The door swung open to reveal a very disheveled Hunk.

"You were really pushing it this time weren't you?" he asked stepping aside to let Lance in. "I hope she's worth it." He said crawling into his bed, already dressed in his pajamas. Lance smiled as he sat down on his bed, slipping of his shoed.

"Definitely." Hunk had found out about Lance sneaking out almost every night to meet up with Keith after they had started dating. One night Lance came back and realized he had left his keycard in the room so he had to call Hunk. Of course his friend confronted him about his late night disappearances and Lance had told him some. Hunk had just assumed that the person he was meeting was female and not his rival. They created a knocking sequence for that way Lance could come in without bringing his key card with him in case he dropped it. Hunk wasn't a huge fan of him breaking the rules and always worried when Lance wasn't back on time. That just showed how great of a friend he was.
